Also surviving are three brothers, Wade Muncy, Draper, N.C; Lee Muncy, Callaway; Kyle Muncy, Roanoke; four sisters, Mrs. Wheeler Poff, Princeton, W.Va; Mrs. Lucy Vest, Locust Grove, Floyd County; Mrs. Herbert Mullins, Rocky Mount, and Mrs. Jesse Stanley, Roanoke. The funeral will be at Bellview Primitive Baptist Church, Roanoke County. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ezra Wertz, Roy Bell, Doc Sowder, Dennis Coffman, Clarence Hubbard and Irvin Wertz. on October 29, 1954.9

Stanley; two sons, Ralph and Carl Stanley, all Roanoke; a brother, Lee Muncy, Rocky Mount; two sisters, Mrs. Ocie Poff, Princeton, Va., and Mrs. Dorothy Mullins, Roanoke County. Burial in Wilson Cemetery in Floyd County. on January 5, 1966.6

She was the wife of the late Henry Jacob Carroll Sr. She was a dietitian at Springfield Hospital Center for many years. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Surviving are sons Henry Jacob Carroll Jr. of Manchester, Robert L. Carroll of Sykesville, Gene Roger Carroll of Illinois, and Ronald Charles Carroll of Woodbine; daughters Marie Elizabeth Ford of Bel Air and Mary Anna Alban of Westminster; brother Clayton Poff of Hampstead; sisters Hazel Leedy of Randallstown and Geneva Greene of Westminster; 23 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Dorothy Janet Berry; and siblings Hubert, Carlton, and Dorothy Poff. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville. on April 19, 2000.2
