     Leo Richard "Rickey" Busch was born on August 16, 1926 at Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri.2,4,5 He married Phyllis Ann Conner, daughter of Wayne Alvin Conner and Molly Laird Bandy, on June 23, 1973 at Charlottesville, Virginia.1,2,3,5 Leo Richard "Rickey" Busch died on February 7, 2017 at Virginia at age 90.5 He Leo Richard Busch died peacefully on February 7, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 16, 1926, in Springfield, Missouri, and lived in Charlottesville and Albemarle County, Virginia since 1954. He was the only child of Leo Francis Busch and Georgia Dent Busch. In 1943, he volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army Air Corps during the Second World War. After the war, he returned to school to complete his studies at Drury College in Springfield, Missouri, and graduated in 1947. He was married to Margaret Ann Donegan in 1950, and they had five children by whom he is survived, Catherine Ann Hughes (Herbert), Richard Joseph Busch (Lisa), Honorah Louise Sullivan (Michael), Stephen Donegan Busch (Susan), and, George Patrick Busch (Ann). In 1973, he married Phyllis Ann Haynes and they enjoyed 32 happy years together until her death in 2006. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Kim Leslie Hale; ten grandchildren, Eric S. Hughes, Kristina R. Busch, Molly Sullivan Hickey, Richard P. Busch, LCDR Michael Colin Sullivan, USN, M. Brent Hughes, Charles Richard Busch II, James Francis Busch, Whitney Anne Busch, and Frank R. Hale IV; and, five great grandchildren. His greatest interest was his family and he supported his children and their families with unqualified love, encouragement and support. He was an avid outdoorsman and gardener, and passed his deep interest for these activities to his family. He was employed for 35 years by E.R Squibb & Sons, Inc., in pharmaceutical sales, retiring as a Division Manager. He received numerous awards throughout his career, but the one he coveted the most was the "Dr. E.R. Squibb Award," the company's highest recognition. He had a deep love for his friends in the "Good Ole Guys" poker club that met monthly for more than 50 years, especially Ralph A. "Bogey" Harrison, Jr., his life-long friend. In recent years he found great comfort in the companionship of Gertrude "Mary Jo" Muir. The family wants to recognize and express their deep appreciation for the wonderful care provided to their father at Our Lady of Peace Assisted Living, and at the Martha Jefferson Hospital. on February 11, 2017.5

Phyllis graduated from Dinwiddie County High School, and college in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She was certified by the State of Virginia as a Dental Hygienist on June 9, 1970. Phyllis loved living and vacationing near the waters of Virginia and North Carolina. She took a couple of vacations in Hawaii. Phyllis wrote many songs including a ballad of hurricane Camille, which devastated many families of the Virginia mountains in 1969. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gypsy Carol Cline; two brothers, Travis Wayne and James Carlton Nimmo. She is survived by her brothers, Neil Arvel, Millard Tyrone and Dale Keith Nimmo and sister, Bonnie King. Phyllis was loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandparents and her in laws. She was previously married to Robert Lee Meier. God bless and rest her while awaiting her personal resurrection. He was of the Mormon faith and belonged to The Church of the Latter-Day Saints where he served as treasurer. Dale lived his life by doing it "His Way". Dale was preceded in death by his parents, James and Carlene Nimmo; his siblings, Travis W. Nimmo, James C. Nimmo, Gypsy C. Nimmo Cline and Phyllis C. Nimmo. He is survived by his brothers, Neil A. Nimmo and his wife, Donna and Millard T. Nimmo; his sister, Bonnie C. Nimmo and 14 nieces and nephews. Marguerite and Marvin loved traveling the country and spending their winters in Florida with many of their friends. She enjoyed vacations with the entire family by the shore. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grand and great-grandchildren. Many precious hours were spent in the pool, yard, park and kitchen - playing the day away with "Meme" as they called her. She had that special love that only a grandmother could give, and her family knew she could always be counted on to give support in any way. The family would also like to recognize the time and effort put forth from Tony and Karen Link in caring for their mother.
