Army Nurse Corps, Mrs. Leon Easier of Nitro, Mrs. Wayne Smith of Sod, Mrs. Garland Campbell of Clendenin, Mrs. Hubert Summers of Lockwood and Mrs. Boyd Wolf of Chicago; three sons, David of South Chareston, and Gradie and Alexander Jr., both of Charleston; one brother, Walter Huffman of Elkview; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body is at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston. on August 21, 1956.8

The body is at the Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston. on February 17, 1960.5

A life-long resident of Kanawha County, he had served as a justice of the peace in Elk District from 1932 to 1944. Since 1944 he had been in the lumber business at Big Chimney. Mr. Huffman was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics, Capital City Council No. 221 of Charleston, and was a charter member of the Elk Valley Advent Christian Church at Big Chimney. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Niza Huffman, two sons, James Huffman and Rev. Eugene Huffman, both of Big Chimney; and three brothers, Walter Huffman and Rev. George Huffman, both of Elkview; and Zan Huffman of Charleston. The body will be taken to the residence from Albert Myers and Son Mortuary at Elkview at 6 p.m. today. It will be taken to Elk Valley Advent Christian Church one hour before service, which will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. J. M. Withrow will officiate, assisted by Revs. J. F. Elmore and Homer Baxter. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery, with graveside rites by the JOUAM of Charleston. Pallbearers will be Otto Toothman, J. M. Looney, Roy Spradling, Elmer Carte, G. J. Litton and O. R. Smith. on July 13, 1950.4

     William Thomas McGhee was born in June, 1834 at Patrick Co., Virginia.2,4 He married Martha Ann "Mollie" Gates on December 21, 1854 at Patrick Co., Virginia.1,5 William Thomas McGhee married Elizabeth Conner, daughter of Jacob R. Conner and Elizabeth Ann Martin, on October 7, 1869 at Floyd Co., Virginia.2,6 William Thomas McGhee died on November 26, 1907 at Radford, Virginia, at age 73.3 He RADFORD, VA., November 27 - Mr. William McGee, a Confederate veteran, born in Floyd county seventy-three years ago, died suddenly of paralysis of tho brain yesterday after an Illness of only seven hours. He was on the street two hours before the stroke, from which he never regained consciousness. Mr. McGee was a miller by trade, and was twice married. He leaves a widow, fifteen children and seventy-five grandchildren. He was a member of the Christian Church and funeral services were conducted from Chapel this afternoon. His children are: Ben McGee of Los Angeles, Cal; Tom McGee of Alabama; Mrs. Charles Barrett, Mrs. John Farris, and Mrs. Connor of Floyd; Messrs. D. R., M. M., John D., Hiawatha, Cleveland, and Morgan McGee of East Radford; Mrs. Lee Burton, East Radford; Mr. A M. McGee of Bluefleld; Mr. Burton McGee, of Christiansburg, and Mr. James McGee, of Saltvllle. on November 28, 1907.3
