Mr. Huffman was born in Craig County, Va., and had been a resident of Charleston the past nine years. He was a retired Elkview farmer and gas field worker and was a member of the Antioch Advent Church at Elkview. Survivors include his wife, Flora; seven daughters, Mrs. F. N. Given of Charleston, Capt. Lessie Huffman with the U. S. Army Nurse Corps, Mrs. Leon Easier of Nitro, Mrs. Wayne Smith of Sod, Mrs. Garland Campbell of Clendenin, Mrs. Hubert Summers of Lockwood and Mrs. Boyd Wolf of Chicago; three sons, David of South Chareston, and Gradie and Alexander Jr., both of Charleston; one brother, Walter Huffman of Elkview; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body is at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston. on August 21, 1956.8

Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Antioch Advent Christian Church in Elkview by the Rev. Homer Baxter. Burial will be in Lowe Cemetery. The body is at the Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston. on February 17, 1960.5

L. (Lon) Huffman, 71, of Big Chimney, long-time Elk District magistrate and lumberman, died yesterday in a Charleston hospital. A life-long resident of Kanawha County, he had served as a justice of the peace in Elk District from 1932 to 1944. Since 1944 he had been in the lumber business at Big Chimney. Mr. Huffman was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics, Capital City Council No. 221 of Charleston, and was a charter member of the Elk Valley Advent Christian Church at Big Chimney. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Niza Huffman, two sons, James Huffman and Rev. Eugene Huffman, both of Big Chimney; and three brothers, Walter Huffman and Rev. George Huffman, both of Elkview; and Zan Huffman of Charleston. The body will be taken to the residence from Albert Myers and Son Mortuary at Elkview at 6 p.m. today. It will be taken to Elk Valley Advent Christian Church one hour before service, which will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. J. M. Withrow will officiate, assisted by Revs. J. F. Elmore and Homer Baxter. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery, with graveside rites by the JOUAM of Charleston. Pallbearers will be Otto Toothman, J. M. Looney, Roy Spradling, Elmer Carte, G. J. Litton and O. R. Smith. on July 13, 1950.4

She was a member of Elk Valley Advent Christian Church at Big Chimney. She is survived by two sons, the Rev. E. L. of Charleston and James D., of Big Chimney; two half brothers, Cecil Toothman of Belle and Otto Toothman of Charleston; a half sister, Mrs. Alspie Bryant of Charleston; two grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Elk Valley Advent Christian Church by the Rev. J. M. Withrow. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery at Elkview. The body is at Albert Myers and Son Funeral Home at Elkview. on March 26, 1963.3

The body is at the home and will be taken to the church an hour before the services. Rev. Huffman was ordained in 1918, and had served as minister of churches in Kanawha, Boone, and Clay counties. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Dora Estella Huffman; six sons, Dewey, Edison, and Allen, all of Charleston; Leo of Ameagle, Harry of London and Lovell of Elkview; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Wade, Nellis; Mrs. Tressie West, Madison; Mrs. Reva Rule, Bridgeton, N.J; two brothers, Walter of Elkview and Alexander of Charleston RFD 5. on September 6, 1950.4

He leaves a widow, fifteen children and seventy-five grandchildren. He was a member of the Christian Church and funeral services were conducted from Chapel this afternoon. His children are: Ben McGee of Los Angeles, Cal; Tom McGee of Alabama; Mrs. Charles Barrett, Mrs. John Farris, and Mrs. Connor of Floyd; Messrs. D. R., M. M., John D., Hiawatha, Cleveland, and Morgan McGee of East Radford; Mrs. Lee Burton, East Radford; Mr. A M. McGee of Bluefleld; Mr. Burton McGee, of Christiansburg, and Mr. James McGee, of Saltvllle. on November 28, 1907.3
