Burial, with military rites by VFW Post 8366, Gauley Bridge, will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Koerner.1 Willie Lucille Clements was born on February 17, 1917 at Crown Hill, Kanawha Co., West Virginia.1 She died on January 7, 2002 at Quiet Dell, Harrison Co., West Virginia, at age 84.1 She QUIET DELL - Lucille Clements Koerner, 84, of Quiet Dell died Jan. 7, 2002, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born Feb. 17, 1917, in Crown Hill, Kanawha County, a daughter of the late Thomas S. and Lucy Janett Poff Clements. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilson N. Koerner, on Dec. 26, 2001. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having also been preceded in death by her sister, Genevieve "Pat" Guthriee; three brothers, Frank, Woodrow "Woody" and Kenneth Clements, who died in infancy. Lucille owned and operated a store for many years in Craigmoor and had also worked at the Bi-County Nutriurday Center for seven years. She had been an Avon lady and enjoyed collecting small bells. She was a member of the Quiet Dell United Methodist Church since 1945 and was also a member of the United Methodist Women. She had graduated from Charleston High School, Class of 1935. Lucille is survived by 13 nieces and nephews and the devoted caregivers who had assisted with her and Wilson's care 24 hours a day. Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at Greathouse-Gemondo Funeral Home, Nutter Fort, with the Rev. Mary Ellen Finegan officiating. Interment will be in Elkins Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted, with the Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be in Westlake Cemetery, Ansted. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
