He served in the United States Navy and was the previous owner of Graham's Garage as a mechanic. He was a faithful member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ruth Graham; sons, Douglas Graham, of Roanoke, Bill Childress (Ann), of Ashburn; daughters, Mary Angle (Terry), Linda Bedsaul, both of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Crystal Bradford, Jennifer Blankenship, Chad Blankenship, Monica Duncan, Darryl Childress, Cameron Graham, and Ashley Graham; nine great-grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, Cayla, Zachary, Gabriel, Jay Paul, Luke, Kaitlyn and Cayden; brothers, Wendell Graham (Marcella) Fort Myers, Florida, Neil Graham (Cathy), Richmond; sisters, Bonnie Hawks, Beatrice Belcher (Guy); special sister-in-law, Shirley Graham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will follow in Antioch Church of the Brethren Cemetery. on January 4, 2013.²
