Poff, 80, of the 5100 block of Lobaugh Drive, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, in Virginia Beach, Va. A native of Cambria, Va., he was the son of the late Louis and Hattie Poff. He retired from AT&T as a Supervisor after 34 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Vina H. Poff; two daughters, Lynn Woods and husband, Robert, and Sandra Hale and husband, Chris; and a son, Steve Poff, all of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Daniel, Rachael, Lindsay, Megan and Lauren; and two greatgrandchildren. The family received friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at HollomonBrown Funeral Home Lynnhaven Chapel. A funeral service was conducted in the funeral home chapel 11 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2008, with the Rev. Keith Willyard officiating. Anita Paige Willis died on September 15, 2022 at Virginia at age 88.7,8 She Anita Willis Poff of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Byerle Poff. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Renee Poff; grandchildren, Jordan Poff (Mikayla) of Christiansburg, Va., and Karley Poff Linkous (Adam) of Roanoke, Va; as well has her close friend, Faye Myers. Poff, of Christiansburg, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. Jack is survived by his loving wife, Anita Poff; son, Todd Poff; daughter-in-law, Renee Poff; along with grandchildren, Jordan Poff and Karley Poff. Jack is also survived by siblings, David Poff (Barbara), Becky Rea; special niece, Sue Reavis (Herm); as well as a host of other family and friends. Jack served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Sherwin Williams Paint Co after 32 years of employment. After retirement he was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Kroontje Health Care Center and Carilion New River Hospice for the excellent care provided to Jack during his illness. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services are on Sunday, June 28, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Paul Song officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. on June 27, 2020.2
