     Lois Elizabeth Showalter was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ She was born on April 12, 1926 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,3,2 As of June 8, 1944,her married name was Bowling.⁴ She married Cephas Irvin Bowling, son of Oswell Cooper Bowling and Ocie Edith Poff, on June 8, 1944 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^4,2 Lois Elizabeth Showalter and Cephas Irvin Bowling were divorced on September 15, 1967 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Lois Elizabeth Showalter married Winfred Maynard "Wink" Aldridge, son of Rexie Maynard "Rex" Aldridge and Willie Catherine Hill, on May 12, 1970 at Roanoke, Virginia.^5,1,2 As of May 12, 1970,her married name was Aldridge.^5,2 Lois Elizabeth Showalter died on August 24, 2013 at Virginia at age 87.¹ She Lois Elizabeth Aldridge, born April 12, 1926, in Salem, Va., peacefully left this earth on Saturday August 24, 2013. She leaves here on earth a sister, Margret Guthrie, of Roanoke; daughters, Sandy (Dave) Brunson, of Roanoke, Shirley Chittum, of Roanoke, Jean (Jim) Redding, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Joyce (Mike) Stanback, of Roanoke, Yvonne (Frank) Rhudy, of New Castle; sons, Billy (Suzanne) Aldridge, of Charlotte and Jimmy (Debbie) Aldridge, of Birmingham, Ala. Also she leaves 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Lois was a member of 9th Street Church of the Brethren and had a strong love for animals, especially her dog Boomer and cat, Bootsie. She loved to cook for her family and was an avid bird watcher. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Wink, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. on August 26, 2013.¹

Mr. Perdue was retired from Radford Arsenal and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.      James Buford "Jimmy" Martin Jr. was buried at Sunset Cemetery, North Franklin Street, Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁶ He was born on June 6, 1962 at Radford, Virginia.^5,3,4 He married Dorraine Amy Howell on April 2, 1983 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.³ James Buford "Jimmy" Martin Jr. and Dorraine Amy Howell were divorced on September 21, 1987 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.⁴ James Buford "Jimmy" Martin Jr. married Edwina Marie Cole, daughter of Edwin Frank Cole and Carrie Marie Sutphin, on April 16, 1989 at Riner, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^1,2,9,3,10 James Buford "Jimmy" Martin Jr. died on July 11, 2019 at Virginia at age 57.⁶ He James B. Martin Jr. (Jimmy), 57, of Riner, Va., went to Heaven on July 11, 2019. He left us way too soon but he is with Jesus now. He was employed at MOOG Aspen in Radford, Va. He was a member of the Riner Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years as 'Pooch' 423, and was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church. Jimmy was a big fan of VA Tech and Auburn High School sports. He also enjoyed outside and mowing his yard. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Martin Sr; father-in-law, Edwin Cole; and his grandparents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Edwina; sons, Christopher (Terri) and Adam; mother, Doris Martin; stepfather, Gilbert Chafin; sister, Lori Mitcham (David); mother-in-law, Carrie Cole; brother-in-law, David Cole (Diane); and stepgrandchildren, Ashlee and Mason. He is also survived by nephews, Josh Mitcham (Kimberly), J.C. Mitcham (Lori Beth), Jason Cole; nieces, Emily Smith (Daniel), Megan Vaughn (Chase); and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Steve Aker and Pastor Lee Sarver officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. on July 15, 2019.⁶
