She leaves here on earth a sister, Margret Guthrie, of Roanoke; daughters, Sandy (Dave) Brunson, of Roanoke, Shirley Chittum, of Roanoke, Jean (Jim) Redding, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Joyce (Mike) Stanback, of Roanoke, Yvonne (Frank) Rhudy, of New Castle; sons, Billy (Suzanne) Aldridge, of Charlotte and Jimmy (Debbie) Aldridge, of Birmingham, Ala. Also she leaves 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Lois was a member of 9th Street Church of the Brethren and had a strong love for animals, especially her dog Boomer and cat, Bootsie. She loved to cook for her family and was an avid bird watcher. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Wink, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. on August 26, 2013.1

Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Steve Aker and Pastor Lee Sarver officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. on July 15, 2019.6
