Allen; five grandchildren, Ben, David, and Leah Kirby, Betsy and Mandy Allen; one great-grandson, Nathan Jennings. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2001, in the Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by Dr. Glenn Griffin and Mr. Paul Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at Horne Funeral Home.      Nancy James Ratcliffe Nancy Ratcliffe Altice, born March 29, 1941, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, surrounded by most of her family after a long battle with Parkinson’s. She was a very much loved Mom, Granny, Weme, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Waddy and Nannie Ratcliffe; brothers, Terry, Harry, Roy, Bobby, George; and sisters, Mary and Mildred. Nancy is survived by her children, Sonya Carr (Darrell) and Jimmie Link (Geneva); grandchildren, Tyler Hagan, Travis Hagan (Amber), Tanner Hagan (girlfriend Bailey), Kimmie Elrod (Jason), Toby Hagan (Melina), Kristin Link (Joni), Amanda Mullins (Shane); great-grandchildren, Makaya Hagan, Gavin Hagan, Landon and Belle Wood, Conner Elrod, Asher Hagan, Corey Lynch, and Brody Link; sister, Sue Kouzoures (George); sister-in-law, Dorothy Ratcliffe; as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.3 She was born on March 29, 1941 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.1,4,2,3 She married James Earl Link Sr., son of Joseph Conner "Joe" Link and Rheba Jane Light, on June 3, 1959 at New River, Pulaski Co., Virginia.5,1 As of June 3, 1959,her married name was Link.1 Nancy James Ratcliffe and James Earl Link Sr. were divorced on April 27, 1979 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.4 Nancy James Ratcliffe died on October 23, 2022 at Virginia at age 81.3
