Mrs. Wells was retired from Eaton Yale and Town Lock Company and was a member of West Salem Baptist Church. She is survived by her special niece, Judy Pinkard and her husband John; and several other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Norma and Wayne Burleson. A graveside service will be conducted 12 noon Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Ken Nienke officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem, is in charge of arrangements. on March 30, 2007.1

Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, with the Rev. Bud Nichols and Tom Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow in Head of the River Cemetery, in Floyd County.
