     Alice Lee Hancock Alice l. Pacetti, 79, was born on October 24, 1944 and passed away on November 5, 2023. She was born and raised in the New Castle area of Craig County, VA and was the daughter of the late Walter and Nellie Hancock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Pacetti; daughter, Frances Bayne; son, Carlos Delbert and two infant sons, Michael and Lawrence Pacetti; sister, Elizabeth Fisher. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie P. Ferris; step-children, Curtis Pacetti and Connie King; her companion, Dennis Carter, Sr; her life-long best friend, Emily “Ginny” Powers; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She had many friends and she always tried to help others. It did not matter if she knew you or not. She retired from LOA (Meals on Wheels) where she was a coordinator. She loved what she did and she made sure that the people she cared for always had a hot meal and did not go hungry. She always had the hope of being able to help others even after her passing and with that in mind she donated her body to science where she will continue to help others. She was a very loving woman and she will be deeply missed.³ She was born on October 24, 1944 at New Castle, Craig Co., Virginia.^4,3,2 As of November 16, 1966,her married name was Pacetti.⁴ She married Fred Joseph Pacetti, son of Lawrence Zernie Pacetti and Augusta Maine "Guster" Craighead, on November 16, 1966 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,4,3 Alice Lee Hancock died on November 5, 2023 at Virginia at age 79.³

     Delbert Wayne "Big Daddy" Pacetti was buried at Craighead Cemetery, Bottom Creek, Roanoke Co., Virginia.¹ His Social Security Number was 228-04-4950.⁸ He was born on February 26, 1968 at Roanoke, Virginia.^8,2,4,5 He died on February 13, 1999 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 30.^8,1,6 He Delbert Wayne "Big Daddy" Pacetti, 30, of Roanoke, died Saturday, February 13, 1999 in a Roanoke hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Joseph Pacetti and is survived by his mother, Alice Hancock Pacetti of Roanoke; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis A. and Sherry Pacetti of Salem, Carlos R. Pacetti; a sister-in-law, Terri Pacetti, all of Roanoke; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn J. and Alan Argabright, Connie and Jerry King, all of Roanoke, Frances and Carmen Bayne of Craig County, Debbie and Danny Farris of Roanoke; a very special friend, Mary Nordone of Roanoke; a very close cousin, Howie Crowe, Jr; a special nephew, David (Spunk) Stiff of Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Craighead Cemetery, Roanoke County. on February 14, 1999.¹

     Carlos Ronald "Corky" Pacetti was born on March 18, 1959 at Roanoke, Virginia.⁵ He married Teresa Lynn DeHaven on March 18, 1978 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ Carlos Ronald "Corky" Pacetti and Teresa Lynn DeHaven were divorced on May 6, 2003 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁷ Carlos Ronald "Corky" Pacetti married Gwendolyn Rena Lloyd on October 10, 2003 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.³ Carlos Ronald "Corky" Pacetti and Gwendolyn Rena Lloyd were divorced on September 18, 2008 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁷ Carlos Ronald "Corky" Pacetti died on October 6, 2014 at Virginia at age 55.² He Carlos "Corkey" Ronald Pacetti, 55 of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Monday October 6, 2014. Left to cherish his memory are his three sons, Timmy Pacetti, Shane Pacetti and his wife Lauren, Kevin Pacetti; one grandson, Aiden; three sisters, Carol Argabright, Connie King, Debbie Pacetti; one brother, Curtis Pacetti; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. on October 12, 2014.²

     Jerry Lee King Sr. Jerry Lee King, Sr. 60, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy King; brothers, Lawrence Edward Dalton, Sr., Thomas Acie Dalton; sister, Charlene Semones; and his mother, Rachel Greenway. Surviving are his children, Jerry Lee King, Jr., Jessica Nicole King, James Dustin (Carrie) King; grandchildren, Zack, Ana, Damion, Kaden, and Luke King; sister, Lillian C. "Lynn" (French) Hagy; former wife, Connie King; and many other family members and friends. A graveside service will be conducted in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.⁴ He was born on October 30, 1959 at Lynchburg, Virginia.^1,2,3 He married Connie Dawn Pacetti, daughter of Fred Joseph Pacetti and Ruby Ellen Willis, on February 4, 1980 at Roanoke, Virginia.^5,2 Jerry Lee King Sr. and Connie Dawn Pacetti were divorced on July 21, 2004 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁶ Jerry Lee King Sr. died on March 29, 2020 at Virginia at age 60.⁴

     His Social Security Number was 223-38-9614.⁵ Howard Dietz Crowe was born on July 12, 1933 at Franklin Co., Virginia.^1,5,4,6 He married Wanda Patricia Pacetti, daughter of Lawrence Zernie Pacetti and Augusta Maine "Guster" Craighead, on January 15, 1966 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,2,7 Howard Dietz Crowe died on June 25, 1997 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia, at age 63.^5,2,3 He CROWE, Howard Dietz, 63, of Bent Mountain, died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, in a Salem hospital. Surviving are his wife, Wanda Pacetti Crowe of Bent Mountain; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mark Clingenpeel of Boones Mill; a son, Howard D. Crowe Jr. of Bent Mountain; one granddaughter, Brittany Shey Clingenpeel; one sister, Annie C. Holden of Floyd. Funeral will be Friday at 6 p.m. at Woods Funeral Home, Floyd, with Rev. J. C. Holden. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday at Woods Funeral Home. on June 26, 1997.²

     James Edward Carico was born on July 20, 1937 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.^2,3,4 He married Josephine Elouise Pacetti, daughter of Lawrence Zernie Pacetti and Augusta Maine "Guster" Craighead, on July 11, 1958 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^5,2,6,4 James Edward Carico died on April 29, 2020 at Virginia at age 82.³ He James Edward Carico, age 82, of Bent Mountain, Va., passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. He was born on July 20, 1937, to the late James P. and Ester Carico. He was an amazing hard-working father who raised seven children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Edward W. Carico. Those left to cherish his beautiful memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Josphine E. Carico; his loving children, Jimmy Carico, Deborah Yopp, Tina Mills (Freddie), Mark Carico, Marion Peterson (Curtis), and James "Daryl" Carico; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his siblings, Geraldine Potter (Elmer), and Christine McGeorge; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. on May 3, 2020.³

     Betty Jean Grice was buried at Restvale Cemetery, Rt. 221, Check, Floyd Co., Virginia.⁴ She was born on January 23, 1929 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^1,2,3 She married Oliver Laverne Pacetti, son of Lawrence Zernie Pacetti and Augusta Maine "Guster" Craighead, on September 22, 1951 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^1,5 As of September 22, 1951,her married name was Pacetti. Betty Jean Grice and Oliver Laverne Pacetti were divorced on October 9, 1974 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Betty Jean Grice Betty Jean Grice, 88 of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She is preceded in death by her mother, Beulah J. Hermanson and father, Sherman R. Grice Sr. Betty was a long-time member of RSVP and spent many years helping others. She enjoyed gathering with her friends and playing BINGO, card games, and going shopping with the senior group. She enjoyed participating in the Senior Olympics and was proud of all of her winning metals and ribbons. She is survived by her brother, Randy Grice Jr. (Trudy); twin brother, Billy Grice (Juanita); cousins, Jo Ann Maberry, Ann Phillips (Larry), Mitzi Roberson (Rodney), and Nicole R. Carr (Tyler); two nieces; and numerous friends. Interment will follow in the Restvale Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Reva Hylton and Crystal Black for their diligent love and care in the past months. on April 17, 2017.⁴
