     Lester Ray Kelley was buried at Moran-Agee Cemetery, about mile post 150, Blue Ridge Parkway, Floyd Co., Virginia.4,5 He was born on August 17, 1914 at Floyd Co., Virginia.5 He died on May 18, 1942 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 27.6 He Lester Kelley Died Suddenly. Funeral rites were conducted from his home, Wednesday afternoon for Lester Kelley of Paynes Creek vicinity, who died suddenly while walking on the street in Roanoke, Monday afternoon, May 18th. He had suffered from an heart ailment for some months; with Rufus Moran, a neighbor, Kelley had gone to Roanoke to carry a load of wool, leaving home about 6 A.M. As he was walking with Mr. Moran about 2 P.M. he suddenly sank to the pavement, dying before he could be taken to a hospital. His body was removed to a Roanoke undertaking establishment, and from there brought to Maberry's Funeral Home. He is survived by his parents, a brother, Cecil of West Va., Beatrice, Hazel and Mrs. Thomas Yeatts. Funeral services were conducted by Elder Willie Vest and Elder Archie Naff. on May 21, 1942.6

The funeral services will be conducted at Belmont Baptist Church 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 29, 1992, with Dr. Thomas Cribb, the Rev. Chris Rakestraw and the Rev. Lynn Marstin officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belmont Baptist Church or your favorite charity. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. both Monday and Tuesday. on April 27, 1992.4

Wimmer Jr. died on February 8, 2018 at Virginia at age 63.4 He John Cline "JC" Wimmer Jr., 63, passed into peace Thursday, February 8, 2018, after a long battle with Wegeners Granulomatosis. He will be missed by family and friends that knew him during the years of employment at Crenshaw Lighting, playing softball, and coaching in the local recreation league. Preceded in death by loving parents, J. Cline and Mary Wimmer; and twin sisters, Sharon Wimmer, Karen Moran; sister-in-law, Margie Cahill; and brother-in-law, Larry King. Survived by wife of 42 years Peggy Wimmer; son, Travis (Siobhan) Wimmer; daughter, Jenni Wimmer; sisters, Sarah King, Betty (Glenn) Gallimore; and brother-in-law, Gerald Moran; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Copper Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Floyd County Rescue Squad. on February 10, 2018.4

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016, at Copper Hill Church of the Brethren. Pastor Maurice Wright will officiate. Interment will follow in the Copper Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Ave. on December 29, 2016.2
