Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd, with the Rev. Richard Thomas and the Rev. Hebron Quesenberry officiating. Interment to follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday February 13, 2005 at Maberry Funeral Home. She was a Virginia Tech Hokies fan and avid Bridge player, and also enjoyed golf and traveling. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lewis and Sarah Wimmer; first husband, Harold W. Richardson; brother, Ray Wimmer; and sister, Dora (D.D.) Sutphin. Her surviving family includes her husband, Edward T. Bowles; children, Janis Jarrett and husband, Butch, Ann Rule, and Harold (Richie) Richardson and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Amy, Will, James, Heather, and Summer; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jaxson; brothers, Lewis Wimmer Jr. and wife, Polly, and Jack Wimmer and wife, Ann; and many nieces and nephews. The family thanks the entire Raleigh Court Health and Rehabilitation Center staff as well as Dr. John Zimmerman for their wonderful care. A memorial service celebrating Lorraine's life will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem with Pastor Stafford Federich officiating. A period of visitation will immediately follow until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3959 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018. on December 17, 2012.3

Ussery III, Ponte Vedre Beach, Fla; and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the Floyd County Rescue Squad, Floyd, Virginia 24091. Burial will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. on October 17, 1995.1
