Surviving are five sons and a daughter: Ervin Conner, McComas, Alfred of Bud, Ralph serving with the U.S. Navy, Mrs. Garnet Danserebi, Leonard and Hubert Conner, all of Bridgeport, Conn; eight grandchildren; four brothers; Tom Austin, Tralee, Will, of McComas, John, of Bent Mountain, Va., and George Austin of Terrys Fork, Va ; and five sisters: Mrs. J. H. Smith and Mrs. Dock Conner of Princeton, Mrs. Ray Smith and Mrs. Riley Board, of Roanoke, Va. and Mrs. Roscoe Poff of Salem, Va. on November 4, 1955.3
