A lifelong resident of Narrows, she was born on February 25, 1944 and was the daughter of Mrs. Lura Faye Robertson Sexton of Narrows and the late Andy Thomas Sexton, Sr. She had worked as a Home Health Aid prior to her illness. She was preceded in death by a brother, Andy Thomas Sexton, Jr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by four sons, Hobert W. Lucas, Jr. of Florida, Troy W. Lucas of Pembroke, David L. Lucas, Herman L. Stewart, Jr. both of Narrows; two daughters, Patricia Ann Lucas of Pulaski, Diane S. Stump of Narrows; a brother and his wife, Johnny and Linda Sexton of Pearisburg; a sister and her husband, Ruth and Bob Smith of Narrows; a sister-in-law, Gail Sexton of Narrows; seven grandchildren. Burial will follow in the Angel’s Rest Cemetery Narrows. on October 10, 1998.1
