Survivors include daughter, Rita (David) Elliott; two grandchildren, Tracy (Brian) Robinson, David (Karen) Elliott; 4 great grandchildren, Kevin McKinney, Brandi Elliott, Amber Elliott, Valerie Elliott, Raechel Stanton, Grayson Stanton and brother, Halford Mercer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Veneta Mercer and sister, Marceline Burger. Visitation will be Friday, May 18 from 4 to 8:00 p.m., with the Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m. in G.H. Herrmann Green wood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch Road. Funeral Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday May 19 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. on May 17, 2012.2
