     Edward Taylor Bowles was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park (also known as Mountain View Burial Park), 5970 Grassy Hill Road, Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.² He married Ruby Lorraine Wimmer, daughter of William Lewis "Willie" Wimmer Sr. and Sarah Ellen Gearheart.^5,1 Edward Taylor Bowles was born on October 17, 1923 at Jordan Mines, Alleghany Co., Virginia.^2,3,4 He died on February 27, 2016 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 92.² He Our father, grandfather, friend and mentor, Edward Taylor Bowles, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Born on October 17, 1923, he was the son of Dr. Eugene Knight and Eleanor Taylor Bowles. He was a proud member of the United States Navy during World War II 1942-1946, and the Virginia National Guard.A businessman for over 50 years in Roanoke, he retired in 2000 from Roanoke Roofing Company. A generous man, he was active in several civic organizations including the Rotary Club, the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Better Business Bureau. An avid golfer, he eventually moved to Smith Mountain Lake and Waterfront Country Club. A Hokie for life, some of his best times were traveling across the country supporting the Virginia Tech football teams, even having an athletic scholarship in his name. He was a distinguished member of the Virginia Tech Ut Prosim Society. Preceding him in death were his parents; five siblings; his wife, Lorraine; and his beloved granddaughter, Emily Echols Johnson. Left to mourn his death are his children, Cabell and Trish, Karen, and Kim and Jeff; grandchildren, Allison, Travis and Carrie, Brandon, Caitlin and Lindsay Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Ellie, Maddie and Garrison. A sister, Sarah Kelly, also survives as well as his devoted caregiver, Kathy Wilkie. A private crypt side service will be held at Mountain View Mausoleum in Boones Mill. We request no food or flowers, a donation instead to the Edward Taylor Bowles Scholarship at Virginia Tech would be greatly appreciated.      Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Lancaster was born on March 24, 1959 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,3,6 He married Lisa Anne Conner, daughter of Robert James "Bobby" Conner and Peggy Ann Yeatts, on August 7, 1980 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.^4,3 Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Lancaster and Lisa Anne Conner were divorced on March 19, 1984 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁶ Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Lancaster married Linda Colleen Kelley on April 14, 1984 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Lancaster and Linda Colleen Kelley were divorced on June 14, 1995 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁶ Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Lancaster died on July 2, 2021 at Virginia at age 62.⁵ He Jeffrey L. Lancaster, 62, of Bent Mountain, Virginia, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lancaster, and brother, Terry Lancaster. Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Gloriadene Lancaster; his daughter, Jeanette Maxymiv (Mike) and their children, Abigail and Mackenzie; his daughter, Kelley Nance (Keith) and their children, Kyree and Kylee; niece, Amber Lancaster; one uncle, aunts, cousins, and many special friends. on July 5, 2021.⁵
