The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. C.N. Naff, her pastor, and an appropiate discourse was delivered by Rev. Henry Dillon and O.W. Frank. She was laid to rest Octobert 13, 1914. circa October 14, 1914.3

Nicewonder, 88, of 106 Daniel St., Beckley, a former resident of Princeton, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at his residence. Born in Bluefield on June 2, 1917, he was the son of the late Hubert E. and Anna Doyle Nicewonder. He retired in 1977 as superintendent of the New River Division for Norfolk & Western Railroad after 41 years of service. Eugene was a graduate of Beaver High School in Bluefield and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War ll. He was a longtime resident of Mercer County before moving to Beckley in 2003. In addition to his parents, a brother, Edward T. Nicewonder, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Geneva Osborne Nicewonder; a son, Robert K. Nicewander of York, Pa., and Melbourne Beach, Fla; three daughters, Anna Childers and her husband, Harry Childers, of Salem, S.C., Donna Bensey and her husband, Lee Bensey, of Charlottesville, Va., and Rebecca Kirkpatrick and her husband, H.L. Kirkpatrick III, of Beckley; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frederick H. Nicewonder and his wife, Elsie, of Roanoke, Va., Dennis Nicewonder and his wife, Joanne, of Boca Raton, Fla., and Richard Nicewonder and his wife, Laura, of Redford, Mich; and two sisters, Lucille Berry of Portage, Ind., and Wilda Martin of Lawrenceburg, Ky. Private family graveside service will be conducted at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Green Valley, with the Rev. Daniel Johnson officiating. His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers, Dean Nicewander, Daryl Nicewander, Jeffrey Williams, Michael Williams, John Kirkpatrick, Robert Kirkpatrick and Amanda Bensey. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Paul Oar and his staff, the nursing staff of Raleigh General Hospital and Hospice of Southern West Virginia for their support and care during our time of need. on November 6, 2005.3
