     Clarence Ezra Light was buried at Mountain View Memorial Park (also known as Mountain View Burial Park), 5970 Grassy Hill Road, Boones Mill, Franklin Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on April 11, 1915.² He married Ruby Mae Woods circa 1948.^1,3 Clarence Ezra Light died on June 19, 2011 at Virginia at age 96.¹ He Clarence Ezra Light, 96, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011. He was retired from Mennell Milling Company and was a long time member of Poages Mill Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife of almost 64 years, Ruby Woods Light; his children, Richard and Ruby Light of Albuquerque, N.M., Claralyn Holland of Cincinnati, Ohio, Judy and Douglas Pardue of Charleston, S.C., Melody Hurt of Roanoke, Va., Edward Light of Salem, Va., Cherrie and Barry Holland of Roanoke, Va; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rachel Light Mills of Salem, Va., and Christine Light Grisso of Roanoke, Va; and many loved nieces and nephews. Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Avenue at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. The Rev. E.B. Shoemaker and the Rev. Horace Light will officiate. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park in Boones Mill. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011. She was a member of Poages Mill Church of the Brethren, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Ruby was a proud mother and loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Light; son, Richard Light; three brothers; and one sister. Ruby is survived by her children, Claralyn Holland, Judy Pardue (Doug), Melody Hurt, Edward Light, and Cherrie Holland (Barry), 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boones Mill. on October 20, 2020.²

     Margaret Alice Elizabeth Arlington "Arlie" Rumburg was buried at Gray, Poff, and Kropff Family Cemetery, Rt. 221, across from Simpson's Store, Check, Floyd Co., Virginia.³ Her married name was Martin.⁴ She married Benjamin William "Ben" Martin.⁴ Margaret Alice Elizabeth Arlington "Arlie" Rumburg was born on November 17, 1888 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^3,1 She married James Maynard Abner Howard Gray, son of James Matthew Gray and Nancy Ellen "Nannie" Lester, on June 28, 1905 at Floyd Co., Virginia.¹ As of June 28, 1905,her married name was Gray. Margaret Alice Elizabeth Arlington "Arlie" Rumburg died on April 22, 1930 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 41.³

Mustered in (enlisted as a Private) Aug 11, 1862 from residence in Jacksonville, Morgan Co., Illinois. Enlisted in Company D, 101th Infantry Regiment Illinois on Sep 2, 1862. Mustered out Jun 7, 1865 in Bladensburg, Maryland, near Washington, D.C. on August 11, 1862.¹ He married Christina Frances Ball on October 17, 1882 at Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois.^1,5 John Beverley Gray died on November 30, 1934 at Momence, Kankakee Co., Illinois, at age 94.^1,4

     Elizabeth Washington "Eliza" "Lizzie" Gray was buried at Tahoma Cemetery, Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington.³ She was born on August 17, 1845 at Tennessee.^1,3 She died on April 9, 1931 at Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington, at age 85.³

     William Howard "Will" Gray was buried at Fairlawn Cemetery, Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois.^3,6 He was born on August 1, 1847 at Tennessee; William also listed his birth place as Rochester, NY, and Virginia.^1,3 He married Fannie M. Braun on December 19, 1882 at Morgan Co., Illinois.⁴ William Howard "Will" Gray married Catherine E. "Caddie" Falkner on November 29, 1892 at Jerseyville, Jersey Co., Illinois.^6,5 William Howard "Will" Gray died on August 20, 1924 at Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois, at age 77.^3,6 He William H. Gray died at 11:45 o'clock Wednesday night at his home, 425 North First street. He was eighty-two years old. His death was caused by the infirmities of old age and complications. He had been ill for the last two years. Mr. Gray was born near Rochester, N. Y., Aug. 1, 1842. He came with his parents to Illinois in 1860, and for many years lived in Jacksonville. For the last thirty-two years he had resided in Decatur, all that time in the same neighborhood. For fifty years he was a traveling salesman for the McCormick Harvester and Binder company in this territory. He was well known throughout central Illinois and had many friends. He and Miss Catherine Falkner were marrried in Jerseyville, Ill., Nov. 28, 1892. He is survived by his wife and two children, Edward S. Gray of Decatur and Mrs. C. W. Frederick of Winchester, Ill. There are also three grand-children. He also leaves a brother, J. V. Gray, and a sister, Miss Elizabeth Gray, both of Yakima, Wash. He was a member of the Methodist church in Decatur. The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the family residence, conducted by Rev. H. F. Powell of St. Paul's Methodist church. The burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery. on August 21, 1924.⁶

     James Vaughan Gray was buried at Tahoma Cemetery, Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington.⁴ He was born on March 21, 1849 at Tennessee.^1,4 He died on January 17, 1933 at Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington, at age 83.⁴ He James V. Gray, 83, died this morning at the home of his nephew, J. L. Gray, 783 South Twelfth avenue. He was born in Tennessee and had lived in Yakima for the last 38 years. The nephew and a brother, John B. Gray of Memence, Ill., survive. Shaw & Webb has charge of funeral arrangements on January 17, 1933.⁷

     Harriet Francis "Hattie" Gray was buried at Tahoma Cemetery, Yakima, Yakima Co., Washington.^3,5 She was born on February 6, 1851 at Tennessee.^4,3 She Miss Hattie F. Gray, age 71, resident of Yakima for 23 years, died at her home, 1606 Bonnie Doone Avenue, this morning. She had been an invalid for some time. She made her home with her sister, Miss Liza Gray, and brother, J. V. Gray. She is survived by another brother also, William Gray of Decatur, Ill. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Shaw & Sons funeral home. Rev. Edward Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Tahoma cemetery on December 14, 1922.⁵ She died on December 14, 1922 at Yakima Co., Washington, at age 71.³

     Charles Keith Gray was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois.³ He was born on May 30, 1856 at Tennessee.^1,3 He died on April 8, 1875 at age 18.³

     Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner was born on October 15, 1953 at Roanoke, Virginia.^1,2,4,5 He married Carolyn Ann "Carol" Wimmer, daughter of Samuel Harvey "Sam" Wimmer and George Cleo "Georgie" Foster, on October 22, 1971 at Sparta, Alleghany Co., North Carolina.^2,8 Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner and Carolyn Ann "Carol" Wimmer were divorced on February 24, 1978 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁸ Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner married Debra Ann Tuck on July 21, 1979 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.^2,4 Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner and Debra Ann Tuck were divorced on January 23, 1991 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁸ Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner married Eula Mae Hall on June 21, 1992 at Franklin Co., Virginia.⁴ Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner married Marsha Ann Vest, daughter of Marshall Woodrow Vest and Margaret Lena Angle, on May 3, 2003 at Floyd Co., Virginia.¹ Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner and Marsha Ann Vest were divorced on April 11, 2006 at Floyd Co., Virginia.⁹ Edwin Wayne "Eddie" Conner died on September 8, 2014 at Virginia at age 60.³ He Edwin Wayne Conner, age 60, of Check, passed away September 8, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin E. and Ocie Conner. Edwin is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Missy and Brad Mullins; brother and sister-in-law, Macle and Gerlene Conner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith and Edward Howard, Glenna and James Vest; two grandchildren, Corey and Cody Mullins; three nieces and two nephews. on September 10, 2014.³
