Everyone loved her fried chicken. Many Saturday mornings were spent making biscuits and gravy for her grandchildren, who could never get enough biscuit dough. She attended Crown Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons, Lloyd James Atkinson Jr. (Janice) of East Bank, Rodney Atkinson (Darla) of Hurricane and Joshua Atkinson of Wisconsin; daughters, Pam Macleery (late Roger Macleery) of East Bank, Norma Fields (Gary) of Pratt and Tracie Alderson (Danny) of Marmet. She is also survived by brothers, Ed Hudnall of Princeton, Bobby Hudnall of Ohio and Ira Hudnall of Ohio; sisters, Betty Massey of Hansford and Mary Graley of Ohio; sister-in-law, Helen Mullins of Cedar Grove; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. on February 22, 2010.8

Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, with the Rev. Carll Pomeroy officiating. Burial, with military rites by VFW Post 8366, Gauley Bridge, will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
