Surviving are his wife, Maxine Saul Mason; two sons, Robert Christopher Mason of McLeansvine and Kyle Jay Mason of Greensboro; a daughter Mrs. Bill (Lisa Renee) Lambert of Greensboro; four brothers, Charlie Mason of Martinsville, Va, Billy Ray Mason of Burdine, Ky, Ralph Mason of Beaufort, N.C., and Alan Mason of Lynchburg, Va; and three sisters, Peggy Ann Gilley of Patrick Springs, Va, Maxine Hayes of Martinsville and Donna Peters of Daisysod, Tenn.      Charles Daniel Knouse Jr. was buried at Star Township Cemetery, Alba, Antrim Co., Michigan.³ He married Dorothea Rennee "Dottie" "Tiny" Conner, daughter of Alva Merle Conner and Louise Nicholine Teichgraeber.¹ Charles Daniel Knouse Jr. was born on September 17, 1933 at Selinsgrove, Snyder Co., Pennsylvania.^4,2,3 He died on June 30, 2006 at Alba, Antrim Co., Michigan, at age 72.^2,4,3 He Charles D. Knouse age 72, Alba, Michigan died Friday, June 30, 2006 at his home. He was born in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania on September 17, 1933 and lived there until age 17. He then served in the United States Air Force and after being discharged moved to Nevada. He lived in Nevada for 40+ years. Charles D. Knouse worked for Trans World Airlines from 1960 until retiring on November 1, 1983. Lastly, Charles retired from the Clark County (Nevada) Assessor's office in 1995. Charles had been living in Alba, Michigan since June 2005. His hobbies included rock hunting and he was a true animal lover. Mr. Knouse will be remembered by his family as a wonderful father who loved his family and treasured his grandchildren. He is survived by family and friends. His parents Charles Sr. & Mildred (Snyder) Knouse and his brother David Paul Knouse preceded him in death.
