     Betty Jane Poff Betty Jane Prillaman, age 84 of Boones Mill, went to be with her Lord Thursday, December 1, 2022. Betty Jane was born February 4, 1938 to the late Kermit and Christine Jamison Poff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Prillaman and brother-in-law Luther Hodges. When she was able, Betty Jane was a active member Fairmont Baptist Church where she attended most of her life. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed reading and canning. She was known to be a great cook. Surviving is her daughter Wanda Prillaman (Richard); sister Mary Frances Hodges; brother-in-law Wayne Prillaman; sister-in-law Norma Jean Hurley; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from Fairmont Baptist Church. Jerry Sloss, with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call anytime after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Horne Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.
