She is survived by two sisters, Joy Trainor, Pontiac, and Cheryl Armbruster, Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Kim Masters, Pontiac; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kay graduated from Forrest High School. She was a waitress and barmaid all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Kay Masters. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Pontiac. She enjoyed her Thursday night card club and she was a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan. Joy also enjoyed her grand dogs before she had grandchildren. She had been employed at Trainor Brothers Sale Barn for many years. She had also worked at the Daily Leader in Pontiac and was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Forrest Strawn Wing High School. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family. on June 14, 2009.2

LaWayne Allen Wyatt was buried at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW. 102nd Ave., Bushnell, Sumter Co., Florida.2 He Wyatt, LaWayne A., 76, of Riverview, FL, lost his battle with cancer on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL while surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Allen Wyatt of Martinsville, IN (2011) and Mabel Irene Hudelson Wyatt Bell Bohmeier of Indianapolis, IN (2016). He is survived by his wife, Georgann Coldren Wyatt, and two daughters, Cynthia June Wyatt and Denise Ann Wyatt (both of Indianapolis, IN), a sister, Gloria Jean (Raymond) Rippy of Indianapolis, a half-sister, Sandra Ellen Wyatt of Indianapolis, IN and 2 nieces. LaWayne was born January 14, 1941 in Kokomo, IN and graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. He attended Purdue University graduating with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1964. While at Purdue, he was a part of the Air Force ROTC program as well as the Purdue Drill Team, a military competition drill team which received the national title 6 times and had the honor of meeting President John F. Kennedy in the Rose Garden at the White House. Upon graduation, he was commissioned in the regular US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. LaWayne’s military career spanned 25 years serving as a Chemical Officer, Systems Automation Officer, Parachutist, Nuclear Chemical Target Analyst, and an Infantry Officer. His tours of duty included stations in the US, Vietnam and Germany. He received numerous badges, commendations, and medals for his service. His last tour of duty was with SOCOM at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL, where he retired August 1989. In 1990, he began his second career with the Florida Department of Education Adult Migrant Program & Services Division of Career and Adult Education as a Program Specialist. He served the state for 20 years. Upon arriving in Florida, LaWayne was quick to get involved in the community serving as the Bloomingdale Mobile Watch Coordinator for 10 years working with Mobile Watch volunteers, the Community Substation and County Sheriff’s Department Deputies to prevent and deter crime in the Bloomingdale neighborhood. His no-nonsense approach to heading off crime served the neighborhood well. In 1986, LaWayne joined the Brandon Round Table (BRT). The BRT was responsible for organizing an Independence Day and Christmas Parade each year and in 1991, LaWayne became the Parade Marshall. During his tenure, he organized 40+ parades and was honored as Out-going Parade Marshall in this years’ Independence Day Parade. In 1994, LaWayne and Georgann welcomed into their home their first Samoyed, Frosty, and thus started a long relationship with the Samoyed breed welcoming 13 Sammies as part of their family over the years. He was a member of the Samoyed Fanciers of Central Florida since 1994 serving as President, Education Chairman, Sled Team Organizer, Show Chairman and State Fair Booth Chairman; Tampa Bay Kennel Club serving as Recording Secretary and Show Set-up and Tear down Committee; a founding member of the Brandon Florida Kennel Club serving as Recording Secretary, and Show Chairman; and the Samoyed Club of America serving on the Website Committee. A member of the SCA stated, “LaWayne was a problem solver….if you asked him why he recommended something, be prepared for a long briefing because he could justify it. He understood the past and was very able to look to the future to avoid similar problems”. “LaWayne was a kind, true gentleman who gave tirelessly.” “LaWayne was a one in a million friend, always giving his all to whatever he took on. His devotion to his family, his dogs, and the clubs, both canine and civic, was limitless. Even as he spent his final days in hospice, he continued to work.” A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11:00am at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Born and reared in Bates County, Missouri, Mrs. Shires moved to Jackson nearly forty years ago. Her husband, the late James M. Shires, was an official of the Illinois Central Railroad until his death several years ago. Mrs. Shires moved to Nashville in 1939. In addition to Mrs. Harvey, survivors include three other daughters, Mrs. Goldia Gobelet, also of Nashville, Mrs. A. S. Benson of Water Valley, Miss., and Mrs. Amos H. Burtt of Tulsa, Okla; one son, William M. Shires of Jackson and four brothers. on May 16, 1941.5

John David Madison was born on Sept. 12, 1875, at Rich Hill, Mo., the son of Wm. F. and Nancy Madison. He was married to Mary Ann Cabe in March, 1905, at Durant, Oklahoma. Madison came to Oklahoma in 1901 and settled northwest of Stillwater where he has lived since. He was a member of the Assembly of God church. Survivors include the widow, and two nieces and one nephew whom the couple reared; Mrs. LeRoy Furman, Mrs. A.J. Swisher, and Haskell Madison, all of Stillwater. Francis Marion Madison was buried at Lanier Cemetery, McMurty Road, Stillwater, Payne Co., Oklahoma.2,3 He was born on February 16, 1876 at Missouri.1,2,3 He married Ida Pearl Gibbs on December 16, 1910 at Buffalo, Harper Co., Oklahoma.5 Francis Marion Madison died on May 12, 1929 at Payne Co., Oklahoma, at age 53.2,3 He Francis Marion Madison, 32, died Sunday, April 12, 1929, at his home northwest of Stillwater, Ok. Funeral services were held in Stillwater, at the Strode Funeral home, 610 Duncan street, at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 14, with the Rev. Herbert E. Gatti, of the First Methodist Episcopal church, South, officiating. Burial was in Lanier cemetery, northwest of Stillwater. The decedent was born in Missouri, February 16, 1876. He lived in Payne county thirty years, most of the time near Stillwater. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Pearl Madison, and four children, Clarence, Freda, Oscar and Velva, all of the home; by four brothers, S.L., J.D., J.H., and W.C. Madison, all near Stillwater, and by one sister, Mrs. Annie Shires, Jackson, Tenn. on May 17, 1929.3
