     Gurney Earl Hill was born on January 19, 1950 at Greenville, Greenville Co., South Carolina.^1,2 He married Nancy Elizabeth Conner, daughter of Everette Hillman Conner Sr. and Katherine Eleta Flanagan, on September 6, 1980 at Portsmouth, Virginia.^3,4,5,6,1 Gurney Earl Hill died on October 8, 2021 at Virginia at age 71.² He Gurney Earl Hill, born January 19,1950 went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2021. He was born in Greenville, SC and was a lifetime resident of Virginia Beach, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents the Rev. Nolton R. Hill and Edna E. Hill. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy E. Hill, his daughter Katherine Rebecca Hill, granddaughter Charlotte Grace, and his two brothers Nolton R. Hill and David G. Hill. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle to a very large extended family. He will be deeply missed by all. He was a graduate of Indian River High School, where he excelled in football and wrestling. on October 13, 2021.²

     Matthew Walter Conner Sr. was born on March 13, 1963 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.^1,2 He married Maria Ruth Merlino on August 13, 1988 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.² Matthew Walter Conner Sr. died on March 13, 2020 at Virginia at age 57.⁶ He Walter Conner Sr., 56, died Friday, March 13, 2020, at his home. He was born in Virginia Beach to the late Everette Hillman Conner Sr. and Katherine Conner. Walter was the co-owner and operator of Conner Services Inc. In addition to Walter’s parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Crow; and brother, Eddy Conner. Walter is survived by his wife of 38 years, Maria M. Conner; two daughters, Renee FitzPatrick, and her husband, Zach, and Amy Conner; son, Matthew Conner Jr; grandson, Gavin FitzPatrick; siblings, Sonny Conner, and his wife, Patty, and children, Nancy Hill, and her husband, Gurney, and daughter, Leonard Conner and Jill Harris, and her husband, Jim, and children; sister-in-law, Sharon Conner, and children; sister-in-law, Ginger Conner, and children; brother-in-law, Bob Crow, and children; and great-nieces and great-nephews. on March 18, 2020.⁶

     Althea Gertrude Bell was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁴ Her Social Security Number was 226-01-5675.⁵ She was born on November 7, 1908 at Floyd Co., Virginia.⁵ She married Gomer Edward Conner, son of Walter Elmore Conner and Nancy Elizabeth "Nannie" Hill, on February 12, 1927 at Roanoke, Virginia.² As of February 12, 1927,her married name was Conner.² Althea Gertrude Bell and Gomer Edward Conner were divorced on July 1, 1932 at Roanoke, Virginia.² Althea Gertrude Bell died on April 20, 1988 at Virginia at age 79.⁵
