Smith and his wife Vicki, of Homer City; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grand-children; three great-great-grand-children; three sisters, Cleo Stiver of Hanover, June Winning of Nanty Glo and Jane McGeary of Seattle, Wash; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Clifford, Richard, Clair, Robert and Thomas Smith; and one sister, Frances Rougeux. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Robinson-Lytle Inc., Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.m. Thursday, July 8, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery Mausoleum. In addition, he is survived by five children, Melvin of Clearfield, Kenneth of Glen Hope, Shirley Gormont of Clearfield, Donna Kowalcyk of Texas and Kathy Santaite of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother and three sisters, Leslie Smith of LeContes Mills, Ursula Johnson of Buffalo, N.Y., Leola Plubell of LeContes Mills and Mona Butler of Boalsburg. He was preceded in death by three brothers, his twin brother Ronald, Homer Hile and Jacob. on July 7, 2000.2
