One brother, George W. Chatting, Princeton survives. The body will remain at Memorial Funeral Directory chapel Princeton until 2 o'clock this afternoon when service will be conducted by the Rev. Z. F. Mayberry, pastor of the Kee street Methodist church. Neighbors will be pallbearers and flowerbearers. Burial will be in the family cemetery near Glen Lyn. on April 13, 1948.4

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Belcher and one daughter, Rebecca Belcher. Survivors in addition to her husband include seven sons, Calvin W. Belcher, Jr., Freddy Belcher, Buddy Belcher, Jerry Belcher, Johnny Belcher, Frankie Belcher, Rickie Belcher, all of Princeton; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Shrader of Airport Road, Bluefield, Mrs. Peggy Burdette and Mrs. Helen Surface, both of Princeton; two sisters, Mrs. Violet DePaul of Manteca, Calif, and Mrs. Crystal Hale of Narrows, Va; one brother, Albert Chatting of Princeton; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Burns Wornal Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory, on the Athens Road, Princeton, with Rev. Charles Addington and Rev. Tony Reed officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Princeton. on August 31, 1981.6

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery on the New Hope Road in Princeton. on February 14, 1993.3

The body will be taken from Memorial Funeral Directory chapel Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock to the home of Samuel Thompson, Washington avenue, and from there to the First Baptist church at 7 o'clock Saturday service will be held at 2 o'clock followed by burial In Monte Vista Park. The Rev. Z. P. Mayberry of Matoaka will conduct the service. on November 22, 1946.7

Death was attributed to a heart attack. Born Jan. 18, 1888, at Oakvale, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Emma DeWeese Thompson. She moved to Princeton from Hinton in 1919 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton. She was a charter member and one of the founders of the TEL Sunday School Class of the church and a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Her husband, Fred M. Gore, preceded her in death in 1940 and a son, Dr. T. Paul Gore, died in 1943. Survivors include a son, Cecil F. of Princeton; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Thorpe of Greensboro, N.C; a sister, Mrs. J. E. Gore of Rich Creek, Va; and a granddaughter. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church at Princeton with the Rev. Kenneth Bragg and the Rev. Ben Cox in charge. Burial will be in Monte Vista Cemetery. The body will remain at Seaver Mortuary in Princeton where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral. Pallbearers will be Carson Hicks, Ray Bailey, Ed Lazenby, Bill Lawrence, O. D. (Bus) Compton and L. M. Amburgey. Members of the TEL Sunday School Class of the church will carry flowers. on February 24, 1965.4

She was a homemaker and was the oldest living member of Cumberland Heights Baptist Church where she was active as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the W.M.U. The last surviving member of her family, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Standford Collier; nine brothers, Carl E. Thompson, William H. Thompson, J. Norris Thompson, John B. Thompson, Charles S. Thompson, Samuel E. Thompson, Daniel A. Thompson, James F. Thompson and Herbert T. Thompson; and one sister, Garnet I. Conley. She is survived by one son, Herbert Scott Collier and wife Wanda of Bluefield; one daughter, Mary E. Baldwin and husband William H. Baldwin Jr., of Bluefield; four grandchildren, Patricia Ann Baldwin of Fort Worth, Texas, W. Stan Baldwin, Eric Collier and Heather Collier, all of Bluefield; one great-grandson, Austin Baldwin of Bluefield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Klaiber officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Darrell Lilly, Billy Lilly, Jack Lilly, Duel Sigmon Jr., Carl Blevins, and R.T. Andrews. on January 28, 2000.3
