She was born in Floyd County, Va., in 1868, the daughter of W. H. and Elizabeth King. She was a member of the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons, C. M. Martin of Fayetteville and W. E. Martin of Portsmouth, Va; one stepson, Robert of Fayetteville; one brother, Lawson King of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Ira Shockey of Gatewood, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Fayetteville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. B. B. Brietenhirt and the Rev. Charles NcNutt of Charleston officiating. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park. The body is at the Dodd-Payne Mortuary here and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the rites. on April 2, 1953.4
