     Hazel Gertrude Slusser was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.6 She was born on August 2, 1908 at Virginia.3,7 As of January 23, 1931,her married name was Hogan.6 She married Moorman Edward Hogan on January 23, 1931 at Roanoke, Virginia.6,8,9 Hazel Gertrude Slusser died on December 3, 2000 at Virginia at age 92.6 She HOGAN, Hazel Slusser, 92, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2000. She had retired from Kenrose Manufacturing Company and attended the First Church of God in Vinton for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Moorman Hogan and son, Norman T. "Tommy" Hogan. She is survived by her children, Eulesta H. Bryant of Roanoke, Eugene and wife, Wanda Hogan of Meridian, Miss., Edith Mae and husband, Sonny Patterson of Lyndhurst, Va., and Michael David Hogan of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Michael Hogan, Robin Polk, Peggy Sue Henderson, Susan Bryant, Bobby Hogan, Randy Patterson and Doug Patterson; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Carl V. Woodie, with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. Arrangements are being handled by the Lotz Roanoke Chapel. on December 5, 2000.6
