Hudnall died on November 20, 2014 at Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 84.6 He Robert and Frances Hudnall, better known as the (Old Man and Sally) Hudnall of Holly Grove, Paint Creek. Robert was born May 25, 1930, in Pratt, to the late Arch and Minnie Moore Hudnall, and died November 20, 2014, and Sally Rush Hudnall born in Gallagher, to the late John and Mary Hughes Rush of Paint Creek died August 22, 2007. Preceded in death are a son, Charles Hudnall; grandsons, Brian Rush of Charleston and Michael Spencer of Livingston. Robert was a construction worker and a avid mandolin player of the Holly Grove Grass Band. Robert played in the Charleston Vandalia under the same shade tree at the Capital lawn for 26 years. Better known as the (Old Man) and Frances better known (Sally). Sally was a devoted and hard working contractor for the United States Postal Service with 30 years of service. Surviving are sons, Robert Hudnall, Jr., of Pratt, Edward (Leon) Hudnall of Montgomery; brother-in-law, Greg Rush and his wife, Meredith of Campbells Creek; daughter, Rebecca (Becky) White and Paul Shaw of Pratt; grandchildren, Robert Aaron Hudnall and Ashley Jett of Holly Grove, David and Niki White of Holly Grove, Crystal White and Bart Thompson of Holly Grove, Tony and Mandy Rush Fish of North Charleston; great-grandchildren, David White II and Robert (Bruce) White of Fla., Tiara and Seth Thompson of Holly Grove, Anden Rush of N.C., Zackery Kimble of Holly Grove and Alexander Fish of North Charleston. Withrow died on August 6, 2008 at South Carolina at age 73.1,3 She Barbara E. Hudnall, 73, of Pratt died Aug. 6, 2008, after a long illness. Born Sept. 28, 1934, she is the daughter of Lily Maudie Withrow and the late Fred E. Withrow. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F Hudnall, and her two brothers, James and Rodney Withrow. Mrs. Hudnall was born in Mahan, was a resident of Pratt and a member of the Hanley Baptist Church. Barbara was a retired library Assistant at West Virginia University Institute of Technological and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are her mother, Maudie Withrow, 95; her sons, David Ray and Paul Steven Hudnall and their wives; and her grandchildren, Amanda Hudnall, Abby Lincoln, Jennifer Hudnall and Brian Hudnall, all currently residing in South Carolina. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Montgomery Memorial Park, London, with the Rev. Lewis Villers officiating. The family requests that donations be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association Inc. O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, is in charge of arrangements.
