She was a resident of Bartley the greater part of her life and was a member of the Trinity Assembly Church in English. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lewis Kingrea; two daughters, Edna Earl Kingrea and Shelby Jean Kingrea; one brother, Gaylord Ball; six sisters, Virgie Ball, Doris Kirk, Florence Gibson, Myrtle Richardson, Zolla Pruett, and Edith Brickey. She is survived by a sister, Marie Klingensmith of Akron, Ohio; caregivers, Odella Hicks and family; a special friend, Judy Welch; several nephews and nieces. Interment will be at the Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Va. Family and friends may meet at the Grandview Mausoleum for committal services. He retired from Wilson Trucking Corp. with 37 years of service and carpentry over the Roanoke Valley. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Vance Stephens, of Pearisburg, and Samuel Stephens Jr., of Norfolk; and sister, Katheryn Ratcliff of Williamsburg. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth S. Stephens; daughters, Shelia Odell Hensley, of Boones Mill, and Sharon S. Bratton, of Salem; three grandchildren, Marshall (Jack) Odell, of Baltimore, Md., Audrey (Pumpkin) Jones, of Boones Mill, and Annette (PeeWee) Bratton, of Salem; and three great-grandchildren, Daniel Jones, Noah Jones, and Lucy Jones; sisters, Julia Wilenbeck of Ballard, W.Va., Louise Snider of Narrows, and Margaret Runions of Rich Creek. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter Deanna Runions Sours, two sisters, Nina Bowles and Lake Cardwell, one brother, Ray Runions and one Great-granddaughter, Rachel D. McGuire. Mr. Runions was a navy veteran of WWII, a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, a member of the Pop Finley Sunday School Class, sang in the church choir for 53 years and was a retired employee of the Celanese Corp. in Narrows with 41 years service. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret Stephens Runions, of Pearisburg; two grandsons, Steve McGuire and wife Betty, of Narrows, Va., Rick McGuire, of Pensacola, Fla; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Haga, of Radford and Justin McGuire, of Radford; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys R. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 15, 2002 in the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles W. Lockerby and Dr. Fred L. Austin officiating with burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
