     Noel Boone Conner was buried at Wilson Cemetery, Daniel's Run Road (Rt. 661), Locust Grove, Floyd Co., Virginia.⁵ He was born on March 30, 1938 at Copper Hill, Floyd Co., Virginia.^6,7,12 He married Mary Catherine Havrilla on October 11, 1958 at Winchester, Virginia.¹² Noel Boone Conner and Mary Catherine Havrilla were divorced on July 26, 1966 at Henrico Co., Virginia.⁶ Noel Boone Conner married Sandra Kay McMillan on August 15, 1966 at Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas.^6,8 Noel Boone Conner and Sandra Kay McMillan were divorced on November 23, 1988 at Powhatan Co., Virginia.⁶ Noel Boone Conner married Gloria Gail Crawford on March 28, 1993 at Chesapeake, Virginia.¹² Noel Boone Conner and Gloria Gail Crawford were divorced on March 17, 2003 at Chesapeake, Virginia.⁶ Noel Boone Conner died on April 21, 2022 at Copper Hill, Floyd Co., Virginia, at age 84.⁵ He Noel Boone Conner, 84, of Copper Hill, Virginia, passed away on April 21, 2022, surrounded by his family. Noel was a long-time resident of Floyd County, where he enjoyed life on his farm. He loved growing his own food in his gardens, hunting, fishing, cooking, and anything dealing with nature. He retired from Greyhound bus line and then went on to work as a Tour Bus Driver. These tours were the highlight of his career. He loved to travel and see the world. He loved telling stories of all of his favorite places to visit. Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Noel Conner and Mary Hazel Boone Conner and his sister, Mary Frances Conner Williams. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Conner Plummer (Keith) and Brenda Conner (David White); his grandchildren, Chase and Grayson Plummer, Juliann, Mitchell, Melanie and Jamie Peyton; and his sister, Virginia Carol Conner Whittaker. He was loved by many including his nieces and nephews and his neighbors who always treated him like family. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery. on April 28, 2022.⁵

     Virginia Carol Conner was buried at Stinson Cemetery, White Gate, Giles Co., Virginia.^5,10 She was born on December 12, 1941 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^3,10,5 She married Dale Hamilton Whittaker on March 31, 1961 at Floyd Co., Virginia.^6,9,4,10,5 As of March 31, 1961,her married name was Whittaker.⁴ Virginia Carol Conner died on June 18, 2022 at Peterstown, Monroe Co., West Virginia, at age 80.⁵ She Virginia Carol Conner Whittaker, 80, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was most recently a resident of Country View Assisted Living in Peterstown, W.Va. Her home was in the White Gate Community of Giles County. On December 12, 1941, Carol was the youngest child born to Mary Hazel Boone Conner and Oliver Noel Conner. She, along with her sister Mary Frances and brother Noel, lived on a dairy farm in Copper Hill, Va. Each family member would help milk the cows, gather fresh eggs from the chicken house and harvest fresh vegetables from their large garden. She enjoyed the country life. Carol attended Check High School, where she was a member of the basketball team and was the president of her senior class. She was a gifted seamstress and made all of her dresses in high school and even made her own wedding dress. After high school, Carol attended Danville Technical Institute, in Danville, Va., to study cosmetology. At a boarding house there, she met her future husband, Dale Hamilton Whittaker. They were married on March 31, 1961 and enjoyed 48 years together, mainly residing in White Gate, Va., at the Whittaker family home place. Carol worked at Dublin Pharmacy, in Dublin, Va., for many years as a sales clerk and had many fond memories of the Dudley brothers. She made many special friends and coworkers. Everyone who knew Carol knew she loved to cook. She made many loaves of sour dough bread to give away to the people of the community. She made wonderful desserts and always had a dish filled with candy in her kitchen for anyone to help themselves. Carol enjoyed making birthday cakes for her grandchildren. She loved gummy bears, chocolate candy and milk shakes. Carol painted pictures on the outside buildings on the farm; flowers, angels, a light house and a large smiley face brightened up the old structures. One of her passions was going to the beach and collecting seashells. Once home, she would make amazing pictures and wreaths with the shells. One room of her home is filled with sea shell creations. Her grandchildren have fond memories of painting and making shell pictures with Grandma. She loved all animals and leaves behind her beloved cat, "Tinker Bell." Carol loved planting flowers and gardening. Her beautiful day lilies and irises live on today. Along with her parents, Virginia Carol Conner Whittaker was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hamilton Whittaker; her sister, Mary Frances Williams; a brother, Noel Boone Conner and her great-grandson, Paul Hudson Whittaker. She is survived by her children, Rhonda Dale and Eddie Lucas, White Gate, Va., Jeffrey Marvin and Regina Whittaker, Goodview, Va., and Pastor Craig Hamilton and Clara Whittaker, White Gate, Va; her grandchildren, Todd and Kayleigh Whittaker, Andrew and Kayla Gusler, Molly and Michael Sainz, Chana and Austin Schlottman, Rachel and Adam Harrington, Susanne and Bud Koontz, Maegan, Gracie, John, Phebe and Lillian Whittaker, Amelia Whittaker and Luke Whittaker; her great-grandchildren, Linkin, Ryder and Emerson Whittaker, Abby Mae Schlottman, Chloe Grace Sainz and Landyn Bowles; her bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dustin and Hillary Skyler, Owen Lucas, Brittney Lucas, Kassadey, Kerissa and Karley Sadler; and her beloved cat, "Tinker Bell." Burial will follow in the Stinson Cemetery. The Whittaker family wishes to thank the staff at Country View Assisted Living in Peterstown, W.Va., for the special care you gave to Carol. You all were like family to her when she required 24 hour care and was no longer able to stay at home. Helms, daughter of William Thomas Helms and Barbara Ellen Unknown, on December 8, 1853 at Rocky Mount, Franklin Co., Virginia. Tazwell Puckett married Barbara E. Lester, daughter of Abner Lester and Mary Ann Helms, on October 7, 1884 at Floyd Co., Virginia.²

Grace Eva Teel died on August 26, 1997 at West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Co., Florida, at age 95; Her obituary has a death date of Aug 27, 1997.^5,7,6 She GRACE E. STANDT, age 95, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 1997. Mrs. Standt had lived here since 1961 coming from Oxford, PA. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, FL and had been a seamstress for Jack Sheehan Cleaners of West Palm Beach. Beloved mother of Pauline Bredin and Albert L. Standt, both of West Palm Beach, FL. Beloved grandmother of Jan Leslie, Debbie Baker and Michael Standt. Eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 1997 at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Thomas Clayton officiating.      Lydia Marie Teel was buried at Sherwood Burial Park, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² She was born on July 7, 1904 at Copper Hill, Floyd Co., Virginia.² She married Charles Acree Arrington on May 16, 1923.¹ As of May 16, 1923,her married name was Arrington. Lydia Marie Teel died on August 3, 1981 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 77.²
