Crowder, died yesterday morning in a local hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday. Crowder, whose death followed a lingering illness, was born March 24, 1892, in Virginia, a son of the late Isaac and Millie Craft Crowder. A former Logan County Republican executive committe member, he was a candidate for the same office in the May primary. Crowder came to West Virginia when he was 17 years of age. He worked in several coal mines in the county and owned his own truck mine until about two years ago when he went out of business. Crowder had also been employed by the State Road Comission. Surviving are his widow, Lillian Opal, whom he married in 1934; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bailey of Fairborne, Ohio, and Drema Sue at home; one sister, Virgie Crowder of Huntington; four sons, Ray, Clyde, Bernard, and Charles, all of Fairborne, and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Harris Funeral Home chapel. Elder A. C. Maple will officiate and burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. on March 12, 1964.3

     Lovie Roy Craft was buried at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Alleghany Co., Virginia.4,3 She was born on July 29, 1883 at Barbours Creek, Craig Co., Virginia.1,3 She married Edgar Fulton Craft on December 28, 1904 at Craig Co., Virginia.5,3 Lovie Roy Craft Mrs. Lovie Roy Craft died of a heart attack this morning at 4 o'clock in her home in Nettleton addition. She was born July 29, 1883, at Barbours Creek, Virginia, the daughter of Sarah Drummond and Benjamin Newton Craft and was 61 years, four months, and 24 days old at the time of her death. She would have been married 40 years had she lived until December 26th. Mrs. Craft affiliated herself with the Christian church in her early childhood and had been a regular attendant of the Nettleton church since it was organized 18 years ago. She was a loving mother as well as a good neighbor and will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, E.F. Craft, who has operated a photographer's studio for the past 35 years. Also the following seven living children survive: Mrs. R. V. Long, Covington; Mrs. E. K. Fuller, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Walter Whiteside, Mrs. Russell McCoy, Mrs. Opal Davis, Clifton Forge; Lt. Raymond Craft, stationed with the Army Air Corps in China, and Adolphus Craft, U.S.N. stationed in the states. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Jennie Elmore, of New Castle. One child died fifteen years ago. The funeral will be held from her residence in Nettleton addition, with the Rev. F. W. Long, assisted by Rev. J. W. Gardner, conducting the services. The interment will be in the Sharon church cemetery, but the hour and date are not yet known. on December 23, 1944.3 She died on December 23, 1944 at Clifton Forge, Alleghany Co., Virginia, at age 61.3
