Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's East Chapel, 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2003, with the Rev. Glen A. McCrickard officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Botetourt County. The family suggests memorials be made to the Read Mountain Rescue Squad or Cloverdale Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Oakey's East Chapel (977-3909). on April 5, 2003.2

     Murry Kyle White Murry Kyle White, of Salem, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Mildred (Suzee) White. He is survived by his nephew, John (Barry) Leitch and his wife, Judy; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; and a special friend, Katrina Johnson. He was considered a member of the City of Salem and Roanoke County Judicial System; wherein, lawyers would seek his advice on how they presented their cases and what he thought the outcome would be. Among his friends were judges, attorneys, law enforcement officers, and other court staff. He was made an honorary member of the Roanoke County and Salem Bar in 2012 as a demonstration of the admiration of the legal profession. Murry has been a proud member of the Salem Masonic Lodge #23 since March 27, 1952, and was recently presented with a certificate for being a member for 65 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will conducted Thursday with pallbearers from the City of Salem Sheriff's Office, the City of Salem Police Department, and Retired State Police. Also surviving are two sons and a stepdaughter, all in Michigan; a stepson in Florida; four grandchildren, Cortney, Heather, Arthur and Alex; and three step-grandchildren, Brynn and Jenna Evans. Burial is in Marion National Cemetery, Marion. on May 11, 2002.3

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Clay Altice; her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Renae McBride; her grandchildren, Greg and Peggy Altice, Gary and Theresa Altice, Steven McBride, Benjamin and Kristen McBride, and Christina McBride; her great-grandchildren, Hannah Altice and Sean Altice; her sisters and brother-in-law, Mae Conner, Arndill and Evangeline Wickline, Atha Smith, Harding and Lucille Graham, and Lakie Williams; and sisters-in-law, Ressie Graham and Ruby McBride. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Special thanks are given to Bonnie Harlow at the Haven for providing her with such loving and tender care during her last days. on May 6, 2004.5
