She was the last surviving daughter of the late Jesse and Lura Young of Ferrum. Leona was preceded in death by her husband, William P. "Bill" Poff; brothers and sisters, Ruth (Russell) Joyce, Myrtle (Bill) McGee, Wayne (Fannie Jane) Young, Bernice (Letcher) Mullins, Hildreth Young, Frances (Stafford) Witt, Dennis (Mildred) Young, and Navie Young. Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and greats. She will be greatly missed by her very special great niece Lindsey Gayle and dog Frehley. Special thanks to her care giver Charles Young.
