It was there that he met Laurie, the love of his life. They moved to Nags Head, N.C. in 2000 and he became a very successful Realtor/Broker and ran his company, Wray Realty. Joe loved life and lived each day to the fullest. His motto was Live on Vacation. And he did. He was a talented artist and photographer. He loved deep sea and surf fishing. He loved kayaking and biking. He loved music and cooking. He was an avid collector, a passion he shared with his brother. Joe is survived by his best friend and soul mate of 29 years, Laurie Hager; his devoted parents, Barry and Nelda Wray; and his best friend and brother, Brad, Leigh Ann and Mallory, Laurie's family, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Franklin County and the Outer Banks and their beloved cat, Turbo, all of whom he loved dearly. on March 10, 2022.¹

Mr. Blankenship was born November 2, 1951 in West Virginia to the late Roy and Cathleen Dixon Blankenship. Bob was a motivated salesman in the electrical industry. He had refereed high school basketball for several years in Roanoke, Virginia. He also very much enjoyed reading, golfing, working out, driving fast cars, traveling and history. Most importantly he was a Christian. Survivors include his daughter Kristin Noel Heathcock and future husband David Childers of Ivanhoe; sisters Cathy Wilkinson Drummond and husband Jeff of Winston-Salem; Tammy Humphries and husband Larry of Roanoke, Virginia and several nieces.      Caleb Wayne Drewery Caleb Wayne Drewery, 25, of Roanoke, passed away, April 16, 2016. Caleb was a special person who was loved by many, and he will truly be missed. He was especially adored by his nephew, Mason McDaniel. He was a great sibling to his little brothers and sisters, who all looked up to him and affectionately, called him “KK.” Caleb was someone who was humble, hardworking, generous, and always willing to help those in need. Caleb was predeceased by his grandfather, George A. Woolridge; best friend, Jason McDaniel. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Byrd of Roanoke; father, Kenny Drewery, Sr. of Vinton; grandmother, Mary Woolridge , Wilbur and Etta Drewery all of Vinton. Sisters, Amanda, Meagan, Brianna, and Savannah; brothers, Kenny, Jr. and Logan; uncles, Darrell (Sharon) Woolridge and David (Sandi) Drewery; aunt Dreama (Billy) McDaniel; cousins, Dustin, Tyler and Trent; also many family and friends.¹ He was born on July 7, 1990 at Roanoke, Virginia.² He died on April 16, 2016 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 25.¹
