She served during World War II as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class in the U.S. Navy W.A.V.E.S. at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oceanside, CA. She was employed by the State of Michigan for 26 years as a hearings reporter with the M.E.S.C. and three years as an office manager with the M.E.S.C. Board of Review. She is survived by her children, Ross J. Linehan of Ypsilanti and Timothy M. Linehan of Glastonbury, Conn; special niece, Terri (Jeffrey) Gersch (nee Tabor) of Clinton Township; grandchildren, Eric and Kristen Gersch, Nathan and Mallory Linehan; and brother, Frank L. Tabor. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Linehan, on July 28, 1991; the couple married May 14, 1949 in Royal Oak; son, Thomas P. Linehan, on October 9, 2011; brothers, Alan F. Tabor, Giles D. Tabor, and sisters-in-law, Jean Tabor and Elaine Tabor. The visitation will be held Wednesday 9-11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks E of Van Dyke), Utica and Wednesday 3-5 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak. The service will be Thursday 10 a.m. at the funeral home in Royal Oak. Inurnment at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak. Memorials to the Royal Oak Historical Society or Royal Oak Woman's Club appreciated. on April 8, 2012.2

     Frank Louis Gregory Tabor was buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair, St. Clair Co., Michigan.3 He was born on May 24, 1923 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan.1,2,7 He married Jean Gertrude Frazer on September 29, 1956.1,2 Frank Louis Gregory Tabor died on May 16, 2011 at St. Clair, St. Clair Co., Michigan, at age 87.7,3 He Frank Louis Tabor, 87, of St Clair passed away peacefully in his home, cared for by his son, Chris. He served with the U.S. Navy, participating in amphibious landings in the western Pacific Ocean during the Second World War. He was recalled to service during the Korean War, resigning his commission as Lieutenant upon starting a family. He graduated from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan with degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering. Upon his graduation he joined the Detroit Edison Company for a 38 year career, culminating as start-up engineer for the Greenwood and Belle River power plants. Frank was a maritime history enthusiast. He volunteered with the Port Huron Museum, and performed electrical and wiring repairs during the restoration of the Huron Lightship with his good friend Roy Wade. His loving wife of 44 years, Jean Gertrude Tabor, passed away 10 years ago. Frank is survived by his sister, Yvonne Linahan; and his four sons: Greg of Bremerton, WA, Gary of Ann Arbor, MI, Chris of St Clair, MI, and Mark of Stockbridge, MI; as well as four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He will also be missed by Jean and Frank's good friend Dorothea Knight. Visitation 4-8 Thursday in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. In state Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until mass at 10 a.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to support the Huron Lightship, whose decks Frank is bound to walk again, can be sent care of Lake Huron Lore Marine Historical Society. on May 17, 2011.3
