She is survived by two sons, James W. Lockridge of West Point, Ky., and Earl F. Green of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Anna Day of Noblesville; a brother, David Hill of Windfall; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Evans, Godby and Trout Funeral Home in Noblesville with the Rev. Lloyd Hargett officiating. Burial will follow in Kokomo's Crown Point Cemetery. on November 12, 1953.¹

Burial was in the Curtisville cemetery. The deceased was born on a farm southwest of Windfall now owned by a brother David Hill, on January 13, 1888 being one of several children born to Noah and Esther Hill and in 1910 was united in marriage to Miss Pearl Lawson of the Windfall community. Shortly after their, marriage they moved to Elwood where Mr. Hill had for many years been employed in the tin plate mills. About a year ago his health failed he suffering a nervous breakdown and it was necessary to place him in the hospital at Indianapolis for treatment. Both parents are deceased but he is survived by the widow and eleven children, Mrs. Paul Richardson, Irene, Eugene, Lowell, David, Wilma, Mary, Richard, Betty, Donald and Jacqueline all of Elwood. He is also survived by the brother David Hill of the Windfall community and two sisters Mrs. Vivian Lockridge of Kokomo and Mrs. Mary McGuire of Blackwell, Tex. on November 15, 1934.⁵

Ernest Batman, minister of Pilgrim Holiness church, will officiate. The body will lie in state at the funeral home, where friends may call. Mrs. Stout was born May 17, 1873, near Windfall. Her husband, Job Stout died July 7, 1949. Survivors include the daughter and several grandchildren. on June 29, 1956.⁴

Nona Belle Hill was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Webb City, Jasper Co., Missouri.⁴ She Nona B. Wininger, age 94, of Carl Junction, Mo., went to her Heavenly home on Saturday April 13, 2013, at Webb City Health & Rehab Center, following an illness. Nona was born on February 11, 1919 in Avilla, Mo. the daughter of the late George W. and Anna B. (Swearingin) Hill. She has been a lifetime area resident. Nona married Vernon B. Wininger on April 29, 1936 in Carthage, Mo. Together they raised and cared for five children. She worked for Elder Manufacturing as a press operator. She was a member of the Joplin Full Gospel Church. She was an Ordained Minister and had a weekly broadcast called “Rays of Hope Ministry” on KPCG and KKLL. She is survived by four sons, Ed Winiger and wife Betty, Jerry Wininger and wife Janet, Norman Wininger and wife Sharon and Dan Wininger and wife Kathy, all of Joplin; one daughter-in-law, Miros Wininger, Neosho, Mo; two sisters, Edna Rhodes, of Kentucky, and Neva Nicholson, Carthage, Mo; twenty-six grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Vernon Wininger; and one son, Ron Wininger. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Ruth and John Myers, Ministers will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The pallbearers will be her grandsons. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.⁴ She was born on February 11, 1919 at Avilla, Jasper Co., Missouri.⁴ As of August 30, 1936,her married name was Wininger.⁴ She married Vernon Browder Wininger on August 30, 1936 at Carthage, Jasper Co., Missouri.^4,2 Nona Belle Hill died on April 13, 2013 at Webb City, Jasper Co., Missouri, at age 94.⁴
