Surviving are her husband, George; a son, Woodrow of Glasgow; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Campbell and Mrs. Reva Elswick, both of Glasgow; a brother, Preston Hamrick of Glasgow, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Glasgow Methodist Church with the Rev. M. Homes Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. The body is at Cook Funeral Home at Cedar Grove and will be taken to the residence tomorrow at 4 p.m. and moved to the church one hour before services. on January 10, 1955.3 She died on January 10, 1955 at Glasgow, Kanawha Co., West Virginia, at age 63.2,3

Rufus Zulu Morris HOOKERSVILLE – Rufus Z. Morris, 72, of Hookersville, Nicholas County, formerly of Cedar Grove, died Wednesday at his home following a long illness. Mr. Morris was an employee of Warner Collieries Co. in Kanawha County for 60 years. He was employed at Elk River Coal and Lumber Co. at Widen before retiring about two years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers Morris; four daughters, Mrs. Kay L. Smith of War, Mrs. Aretta Confere of Riverside, Mrs. Stella Johnston of Cedar Grove and Mrs. Marceline Meadows of Belle; two sons, Edgbert of Shrewsbury and Darrell of Cedar Grove; two step-sons, Ira Rogers of Birch River and the Rev. Charles A. Rogers of Morgantown; a step-daughter, Mrs. Esta Loving of Hookersville; two sisters, Mrs. Cora McCutcheon of Drennen and Mrs. Emma Drennen of Charleston, and 32 grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church at Muddlety with the Rev. Grover P. Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Hookersville* under direction of Walters Funeral Home of Summersville. The body is at the residence and will be taken to the church an hour before services.
