Mrs. Todd was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Zeb, Howard and Ralph Crook and three sisters, Elsie Long, Grace Taylor and Daisey Israel. Surviving are her daughter, Katherine Shelton of Morristown, TN; four grandchildren, Sondra Taylor and husband, Robert of Candler, Angela Penland of Candler, Wendy Brooks and husband, Robert of Sneedville, TN and Bryan Shelton of Morristown, TN; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Green Hills Cemetery. on March 29, 2005.²

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Crooke Long; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Jones, Morristown; two brothers, John Long, Chicago; and Willie Long of Morristown; a number of nieces and nephews. Entombment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. on August 29, 1961.⁴
