She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mark H. “Mac” Albert, Jr., a sister, Bonnie, and a brother, Jimmy. She was a member of Blacksburg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Sandra retired from Roanoke County/ Salem City Health Department after over 30 years. Her favorite thing was to look through cookbooks and cooking, especially at Thanksgiving. She is survived by her; stepdaughter and son-in-law Angie and Regan Underwood; stepson, Mike Albert; sisters, Linda (Sam) Quarles, Nancy Campbell; sisters-in-law, Eleanor King, Edna “Kitty” Collins, and Emily Oliver; brother-in-law, Mickey (Diana) Albert; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Logan, Erin, Ryan, Sara, and Jake; three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
