He was made an honorary member of the Roanoke County and Salem Bar in 2012 as a demonstration of the admiration of the legal profession. Murry has been a proud member of the Salem Masonic Lodge #23 since March 27, 1952, and was recently presented with a certificate for being a member for 65 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will conducted Thursday with pallbearers from the City of Salem Sheriff's Office, the City of Salem Police Department, and Retired State Police.
