Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Laurel Branch Church of the Brethren with Reverend Stanley Hawkins and Reverend Marvin Hiner officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Branch Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Michael Barry, Carilion New River Valley Medical Unit and Gentle Shepherd Hospice. on August 9, 2001.1
