She is survived by her oldest son and caregiver, Larry Howard; her sons and daughters-in-laws, Kelly and Lisa Howard, and Tony and Ronda Howard; grandchildren, Tara Howard, Cris and Casey Howard, Michael Watson, Zack and Jessica Watson, and Amanda Watson; greatgrandchildren, Isaac and Caleb Howard, Briona and Michael Watson, and Matthew Kirby; brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Shirley Poff, Carl and Odessa Poff, Junior and Frances Poff, and Roger and Emma Poff; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josephine Thomas, and Frances and James Sowers; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Media Hospice personnel for all their devotion and kindness to Gwen during her illness. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park, Franklin County. on May 12, 2010.3

Mr. Elmore, who was formerly pastor of the Tazewell Christian Church, is now pastor of Central Christian Church of Phoenix. In his six years ministry in phoenix more than a thousand members have been added to the church and Central Church is now the largest of our religious belief in the state. Mr. Elmore says the Phoenix summers are hot (with a capital H) and therefore his church gives him a month's vacation. on August 28, 1936.6 She died on May 20, 1973 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 101.2
