     Janet Craighead Janet Craighead Martin, of Christiansburg, won her battle with cancer Monday, May 30, 2016. Waiting to meet her at the gates of Heaven are her mom and dad, Violet and Linden Craighead; brothers, Paul and Garland Craighead; sisters, Hazel Craighead, Claudine Stump, and triplet Joan Austin. Janet was originally from Shawsville and was lovingly thought of as one of the triplets. She worked at Ray’s King Burger, Imperial Reading, Don Kenny, and Bojangles as a biscuit maker. Janet will lovingly be remembered by her loving husband of 53 years, Randel Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Gary Guilliams; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Kim Martin; grandsons, Sean Bennett, Scott Bennett, Trevor Bennett, and Kevin Martin; only granddaughter, Allyson Martin; and granddog, Rocky. She is also survived by brother, Curt Craighead; sisters, Helen Brown, Gladys Hurst, and the last surviving triplet sister, Jane Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to Carilion Hospice, favorite caregiver Nicole Lloyd, special cousin Durene Cup, and special friend Sylvia Rader. Craighead; and sisters, Joan Austin, Claudine Stump. He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda G. Lilly, and son-in-law, Ron Lilly; granddaughter, Angela L. Sinyard; grandsons, Paul C. and wife, Meka, and Daniel J. Lilly; and great-grandsons, Caleb P. Lilly, Christopher A. Lilly. He is also survived by his brother and sisters and spouses, sister, Helen Brown, of Shawsville, sister Gladys Hurst, of Shawsville, sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Randel Martin, of Christiansburg, sister, Jane Smith, of Blacksburg, and brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Jeanne Craighead, of Shawsville. He is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, and, friends. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, in Christiansburg. on April 18, 2016.⁴

     Roy Curtis Craighead was buried at Piedmont Cemetery, Rt. 11 to Shawsville, turn at nursing home, Rt. 637, about 8 miles on the left, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^13,5 He Roy Curtis Craighead, 80 of Shawsville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the age of 80. Roy was born in Shawsville on February 15, 1939 to the late Linden Roy Craighead and Violet Emily Arabrite. He is survived by his loving wife, Carola Jeanne Craighead and his other siblings. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, sewing and crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Poff; her son, Ronald C. Poff; a sister, Elsie Flinchum English; and her brother, Herman "Sleepy" Flinchum.She is survived by her daughters, Linda Wintermeyer and husband, Butch, and Lisa Bain and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Ryan Poff, and Stephen and Kerri Bain; a brother, Robert Flinchum; and her granddog, "Beamer." Ronnie taught English at Patrick Henry High School for 14 years, and was a teacher in the Roanoke City School System for a total of 32 years. He was a Boy Scout, and a very active participant and fan of sports. "Woody" was a fixture in Roanoke Valley softball leagues for many years, and loved the game of golf. on October 13, 2009.³

     Clayton Arley Banks was born on December 29, 1927 at Carroll Co., Virginia.³ He married Alva Ruth Arlene Yeatts, daughter of Coy Oliver Yeatts and Mary Lee Agee, on January 28, 1949 at Patrick Co., Virginia.^1,2,5 Clayton Arley Banks died on December 31, 2004 at Dugspur, Carroll Co., Virginia, at age 77.^4,5 He Clayton Arley Banks, age 77, of Dugspur, passed away December 31, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Banks is survived by his wife, Sylvia N. Banks of the home; daughter & son-in-law, Paulette & Bob Johnson of Bluefied, VA; son, Lane Banks of Port Royal, SC; stepdaughter, Sharon Coulson of Woodlawn; stepson, G. C.
