Mrs. Nelepovitz was born January 22, 1927 in Clifton Forge, VA. She was the youngest of six and graduated from high school in Norfolk, VA. She went on to nursing school where she earned her RN degree. Mrs. Nelepovitz joined the Army and served during the Korean War when she met her future husband, Richard Nelepovitz, an Army officer on his way to Korea. They moved to California in 1954 where they raised their four children. The Nelepovitz family moved to San Diego in 1973. Mrs. Nelepovitz was preceded in death by her husband Richard and her grandson Ryan McNaughton. She is survived by her four children, Richard, Donald, Mary McNaughton and James. She has eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. All will miss her very much. on August 13, 2014.5

She is survived by her 2 sons Robbie Mills (Brenda) of Yorktown and Ivan Etheridge (Shari) of Gloucester; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Zion United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. on February 23, 2017.4
