Born January 30, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Maggie Ashby Richards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Clayton Terry Sr; two brothers Earl and Cecil Richards, and two sisters Edith Richards and Ruby Billings. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Clayton Terry Jr., and wife, Mary Ellen, of Beckley, daughters Judy Clay and husband Bob of Albany, Ga., Sharon Terry and husband Tom Monds of Williamsburg, Va., and Karen Coalson and husband Bob of Beckley. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lisa Hughes, Kate Coalson, Kelly Clay and Andrew Coalson and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley, with Deacon Jay Ziolkowski officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. on August 13, 2011.2
