     Gloria Ann Beamer Gloria A. Kelley, 79, passed away Monday afternoon, May 5, 2008, due to non-Hodgkins lymphoma, at her daughters home, while under Marcus Daly Hospice care. Gloria was born in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 24, 1929, to the late Luther C. and Catherine E. Burke Beamer. She was married to Wesley D. Kelley, for 58 years and he was a wonderful man. Gloria enjoyed life to the fullest and had many friends. She loved to dance and play games. She was the secretary of the bowling league and bingo. She was a very kind and loving mother who spent most of her life caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley D. Kelley; daughter Cynthia A. Switzer; mother and father; and sister MaryJean. She is survived by son Ken Kelley of Brawley, Calif; daughters Sharon Riddle of Hamilton, Catherine Behler of Elgin, Texas, Patricia Kelley of Hamilton and Christine English of Ferdinand, Ind; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. He moved to Sacramento, California and lived there until 1997 when he and his wife moved to Eugene, Oregon. Bartlett served in the 32 N D "Red Arrow Division" in the Pacific Theater during WWII. As an Army Reservist, he obtained the ran of Chief Warrant Officer. He worked as a service writer and service manager in auto dealerships in the Sacramento, Calif. area. Bartlett enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling and gardening. He was a Life Member of the U.S. Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Betty Bartlett of Gouverneur, N.Y; a son, Robert II of Eugene, Oregon; a brother, Hugh of Richmond, Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. No services are planned. Inurnment will be in Roanoke, Virginia. Andreason's Cremation & Burial Services in Eugene, Oregon is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. on June 23, 2002.⁵
