Whitlock Sr. Surviving are her husband, David Lynn Cartwright; two daughters, Jessica Lynn Cartwright and Jennifer Marie Cartwright, both of Check; her mother, Elizabeth Whitlock Kazee of Floyd; one sister, Betty Ann Whitlock of Christiansburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael Allen and Kimberly Pack Whitlock; one brother, Randall Lane Whitlock; maternal grandparents, Carl and Mae Dobbins, paternal grandmother, Estella Yeatts Whitlock; one nephew, Robert Thomas Whitlock, and one niece, Kayla Shay Whitlock, all of Floyd; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carolyn and Harry Cartwright, and one sister-in-law and husband, Tammy and Rickey Allen, all of Copper Hill; one brother-in-law and wife, James P. and Karen Cartwright of Blue Ridge, and two very devoted care givers, Almeda Conner and Cindy Webb.
