He was preceded in death by his wives, Eleanor Epperly Veasey and Virginia Martin Cook Veasey. Surviving are his sons, William M. Veasey and wife, Ruth York Veasey of Brevard, N.C., Stephen W. Veasey and wife, Marjorie Feather Veasey of Snellville, Ga; stepdaughter, Bonnie Cook Livingstone and husband Anthony C. Livingstone of Miami, Fla; stepson, Albert W. Cook, Jr., Vero Beach, Fla; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two nieces, one nephew. Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2003 with the Rev. Roy P. White officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
