"Lynn" (French) Hagy; former wife, Connie King; and many other family members and friends. He was born on July 20, 1937, to the late James P. and Ester Carico. He was an amazing hard-working father who raised seven children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Edward W. Carico. Those left to cherish his beautiful memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Josphine E. Betty Jean Grice and Oliver Laverne Pacetti were divorced on October 9, 1974 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Betty Jean Grice Betty Jean Grice, 88 of Floyd, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She is preceded in death by her mother, Beulah J. Hermanson and father, Sherman R. Grice Sr. Betty was a long-time member of RSVP and spent many years helping others. She enjoyed gathering with her friends and playing BINGO, card games, and going shopping with the senior group. She enjoyed participating in the Senior Olympics and was proud of all of her winning metals and ribbons. She is survived by her brother, Randy Grice Jr. (Trudy); twin brother, Billy Grice (Juanita); cousins, Jo Ann Maberry, Ann Phillips (Larry), Mitzi Roberson (Rodney), and Nicole R. Carr (Tyler); two nieces; and numerous friends. Interment will follow in the Restvale Cemetery.
