King; seven daughters, Mrs. Cammie King, Fayetteville; Mrs. Thelma Garten, Falls View; Mrs. Notrie Franklin, Detriot, Mich; Mrs. Arrie Stewart, Glen Jean; Mrs. Pauline Donley, Detroit, Mich; Mrs. Nettie Sessler, Melbourne, Fla; and Mrs. Goldie Sovine, Fayetteville; three sons, Ralph of Fayetteville; Norris, Detroit, Mich; Jack, Fayetteville; one brother, P. L. Gearheart, Buena Vista, Va; and three sisters, Mrs. Sallie King, Salem, Va; Mrs. Nettie West, Christiansburg, Va; and Mrs. Minnie Woods, Salem, Va. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. King was born in Floyd County, Va. on March 10, 1948.⁶

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Oakey's North Chapel with Roy Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's North Chapel, 362-1237. on March 28, 2004.¹
