He was a self-employed realtor and developer for more than 40 years and owned both Dominion Homes Construction Company and Earle Greene Realty. He was designated a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Realtors National Marketing Institute and served as director of the Virginia CCIM Chapter and president of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of CCIM. He was listed in "Who's Who in Commercial Investment Real Estate" and served on several national committees during his career. He also served on a number of local business and civic organization boards, including several years as President of Chatmoss Country Club. Mr. Greene was a member of First Baptist Church of Martinsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Blankenship Greene; one sister, Evelyn G. Haga; and two brothers, Wayne and Kenneth Greene. He is survived by two daughters, Connie Lee Greene Nyholm, of Alton, Va. and Mollye Sue Greene Rhea and husband, Frank Randall Rhea, of Dunwoody, Ga; two brothers, Paul Greene and wife, Clara, and Woody Greene and wife, Alma, all of Roanoke; and three grandchildren, Randall Tanner Rhea, Earle Erik Nyholm, and Connelly Virginia Rhea. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009. at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Martinsville with Dr. Dennis Knight and the Rev. John Fulcher officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at CollinsMcKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel. Ernest Lenwood "Woody" Greene Ernest Lenwood (Woody) Greene, 93, of Roanoke, VA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 13, 2025. Woody was born on February 14, 1932. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Alma (Shelburne) Greene. Woody was the son of James W. and Elsie (Martin) Greene who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his sister Evelyn Haga, and his 4 brothers: Kenneth Greene, Earl Greene, Paul Greene, and Wayne Greene. Woody was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Pastor Bobby Edwards, and twin grandsons, Justin Edwards and Jordan Edwards. Surviving to continue Woody's legacy are his 2 daughters Donna (Greene) Edwards of NC and Tracey (Greene) Good of VA, son-in-law, Bob Good, and 6 grandchildren: Allison Edwards, Austin Edwards, Emily Frustol (Jason), Patrick Good (Brittany), Sydney Good, and Conner Good (Victoria). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren: Jackson Frustol, Zander and Evelyn Good, and Lila Good. Woody graduated from William Byrd High School in Vinton, VA and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from Roanoke College with a B.S. in Pre-Med/Biology from Roanoke College and worked as a Probation Supervisor for the City of Roanoke for more than 30 years before retiring in 1994. Woody loved playing golf and searching for lost balls at Brookside Golf Course. But his heart was always focused on missions, evangelism, and his relationship with the Lord. He served as Elder, Deacon, AWANA Leader, and more during over 50 years of faithful membership at Shenandoah Baptist Church. He also enjoyed skydiving, golfing and was a great chef. Carlton worked for years as a Gemologist with local jewelers in the Roanoke Valley. Carlton is survived by his loving wife, Barbara "Babs" Felty, daughter, Heather Brown and husband, Thomas, two grandchildren, Parker and Karleigh Brown, a brother, Danny Felty and wife Judy, and numerous nephews and other relatives.4 He was born on May 11, 1951 at Virginia.3 He married Barbara Gail Greene, daughter of Clarence Paul Greene and Clara Frances Boothe, on September 11, 1971 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3 Carlton Brown Felty died on June 27, 2021 at Virginia at age 70.4

Alma was energetic and loved serving her family. Donald Lee "Don" Hall was born on January 22, 1932 at Roanoke, Virginia.3 He married Barbara Ethel Blankenship on January 14, 1954 at Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., North Carolina.2,3,6 Donald Lee "Don" Hall died on August 4, 2021 at Brazos Co., Texas, at age 89.3 He Donald "Don" Lee Hall, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 4, 2021, with his wife at his side. Don was born on January 22, 1932, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Jessie James and Beatrice "Bea" Martin Hall. Don met the love of his life, Barbara "Bobby" Blankenship and married on January 14, 1954, in Roanoke Virginia, where they lived their entire lives. Don was an avid fan of his family's activities, especially when following his son's sports teams and his daughter's singing career. Don loved the beach and sun! He planned yearly trips to Myrtle Beach with his wife and children. He loved the beach trips so much; he was often known to have made numerous trips per year with his children and grandchildren. Don served in the United States Coast Guard from 1949 until 1953 during the Korean War conflict. He was first employed by American Bridge-US Steel working as a draftsman. After a two year stint there, he was hired by the United States Post Office as a letter carrier. Don remained with the Post Office for 31 years before retiring in 1989. After his retirement from the Post Office, he was hired part-time by Carillion Hospital as the parking garage superintendent until his final retirement in 2011. He always loved people and enjoyed interacting with his customers on his post office route and with the doctors, nurses and hospital staff at Carillion Hospital. He always joked with friends that he worked in the medical profession. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Bea Hall; his brother, William "Bill" Hall and sister Katherine (Kitty) Hall Wiseman. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Barbara Blankenship Hall; his son, Rick Hall and wife, Melinda; and his daughter, Donna Hall Steffek and husband, Gaylon. His four grandchildren include Jesse Hall and wife, Meghan, Trent Hall, Reid Blosser and wife, Rachael, and Gavin Blosser and fiancée, Christina. on August 13, 2021.3
