Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Jim McConnell will officiate the services. Ethel was born Oct. 12, 1917 in Maxdale to Jasper and Amanda (Riley) Story. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World and she was a member of the Women's Bowling Association. She passed away March 31, 2005 in Sugar Land. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Clark; parents, Jasper and Amanda Story; sisters, Merle Brown, JoAnn Byrd, Sarah Sherman; brother, Marvin Story; and grandson-in-law, John Miller. She is survived by daughters, Joyce Frank of Rosenberg, Sue Schultz and husband, Kirby G., of Rosenberg; sister, Sue Lang of Temple; grandchildren, Kimberly Warwick and husband, Todd, of Katy, Deanna Miller of Richmond, and Steven Schultz of Rosenberg; great-grandchildren, Sarah Bockholt of Katy, Christopher Redding of Richmond, Cole Warwick of Katy, and Anna Miller of Richmond; along with numerous other loving family and many friends. Pallbearers will be Kirby G. Schultz, Steven Schultz, Todd Warwick, Marcus Jones, David Brown, and John Gonzales. Honorary pallbearer will be Christopher Redding.1 Her married name was Clark.1 She married Chester E. Clark, a member of First United Methodist Church in Rosenberg and Woodmen of the World, died Wednesday morning in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond after a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Ethel A. Clark of Rosenberg; two daughters, Joyce C. Cramp and Sue Schultz, both of Rosenberg; his mother, Dona Thornton; and brother, Herman F. Clark of Magnolia; and three grandchildren. on November 15, 1984.3

Brooks died Wednesday at a Temple hospital. Burial will be in the Killeen City Cemetery. He was born Jan. 23, 1896, in Bardwell, and had lived in the Killeen area most of his life. He graduated from Midlothian High School and attended business school in Dallas. Brooks served in the U.S. Navy during World War I. He had been a postal clerk in the Killeen post office and had farmed west of Killeen for 20 years before he retired. He was a member of the Methodist Church all his life and a member of the First United methodist Church in Killeen since 1919. Brooks was also a member of American Legion Post 223 in Killeen and a charter member of the Killeen chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sue Brooks of Temple, and a sister, Mrs. Trudy Knuth of San Antonio. on June 26, 1986.3

     Mary Jane “Janie” Hull was buried at Marble Falls City Cemetery, Marble Falls, Burnet Co., Texas.1,2 She was born on January 12, 1936 at Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan.1,2 As of February 25, 1955,her married name was Riley.1 She married Albert Fillmore Riley Sr., son of Paul James Riley and Beulah Violet May, on February 25, 1955.1,2 Mary Jane “Janie” Hull died on May 24, 2011 at Austin, Travis Co., Texas, at age 75.1,2 She Mary Jane "Janie" Riley, 75, resident of Austin, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Janie was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and retired from Texas Department of Public Safety, Crime Records Division. She spent 51 years of her life supporting the men and women of the Austin Police Department. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. After graduating from high school, she moved to Texas where she met the love of her life, Albert Riley in Marble Falls, Texas. They were married for 49 years before Albert preceded her to heaven in 2003. Janie was a beloved mom, granny, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Albert F. Riley, Jr. and Lana of Kyle and James L. (Jim) Riley and Dee of Round Rock, grandsons Jimmy, David, and Nick Riley, Austin Dorman, and John Saladino; brother John Hull and wife Joyce, sisters-in-law Jo Manno (husband Bill) and Ruth Heffington, all of Marble Falls. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also left behind her beloved four-legged companion Codi Su. Graveside services will be held at half past two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday in the Marble Falls City Cemetery, Marble Falls, Texas. Honoring Janie as pallbearers will be Jimmy, David, and Nick Riley, John Brett Hull, William Manno III, and David Heffington. on May 26, 2011.2
