She is survived by her husband, Robert Smith of Wharton; daughters, Deborah Miller of Charleston and Martha Sigmon of Alum Creek; sons, Tyrell Miller of Ridgeview, Jorell Miller of Foster, Richard Pauley of Greenview and Joseph Pauley of Richmond, VA; stepchildren, Karen Zornes, Robert Smith and Judy Cook; 13 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Naomi Menninger of Charleston; brother, Claude Brown of Ironton; and sister, Joyce Fowler of Julian; and a host of friends and family. She was a member of Brown’s Branch Church, Gordon. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Phil Rowe and the Rev. David May officiating.      Her married name was Ferrell.⁴ Venus Rosann Miller Venus Roseann Miller, 54, of Jeffrey, WV was born February 29, 1960 and died July 8, 2014 at her home. She is survived by her mother and stepfather; Leona and Bob Smith of Van; children, Heather (Bruce) Epperheart of Logan and Bradley (Tasha Richardson) Ferrell of Bias Branch; sisters, Debbie (Mark) Miller of Charleston, Martha Nelson (Allen) Sigmon of Sod and Velda Gauthier of FL; brothers, Tyrell (Charlyn) Miller of Ridgeview, Jorell (Rita) Miller of Foster, Dwayne Pauley of Greenview, Joseph Pauley of VA and William Miller of Charleston; five grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with visitation one hour prior to the service.⁴ She married Unknown Ferrell.⁴ Venus Rosann Miller was born on December 29, 1960 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio.^2,3,4 As of March 3, 1978,her married name was Jones.² She married John Olin Jones on March 3, 1978 at Pearisburg, Giles Co., Virginia.² Venus Rosann Miller died on July 8, 2014 at Jeffrey, Boone Co., West Virginia, at age 53.⁴
